Brighter than original, however not much it matters....when you brake
Brighter than original bulb BUT when you hit the brakes, they fail to become THAT much brighter, thus making it less obvious that you are braking. The build quality is GREAT, but I was just disappointed with the results for these. I was surprised these didn't get that much brighter when you hit the brake light...had to have a 2nd set of eyes to ensure and confirm what I saw

Great easy upgrade for much brighter brake lights!! good quality!
I was skeptical to buy these bulbs initially because of the low price compared to auto parts stores. i installed these bulbs into my 67 mustang and 1992 jeep wrangler; they not only fit perfectly but work great and are much brighter than the original bulbs! the conical feature at the tip is really awesome and makes the bulbs very bright for my brake light applications. all the bulbs worked right out of the box and after several weeks i have had no issue what so ever. a very cheap and fantastic upgrade not only for longevity due to them being LED but as they are brighter than the original incandescent bulbs.

Right packaging. Wrong contents.
I ordered BAU15S / 1156PY bulbs. I received a package that said BAU15S / 1156PY on it. Inside that package was 4 1156 base bulbs. F.Y.I. to KaTur: 1156 bulbs have 2 nubs at the base that are 180 degrees apart from each other, BAU15S / 1156PY bulbs also have 2 nubs on the base but they are 120 / 240 degrees apart. As a bulb manufacturer you should probably know this stuff. Otherwise the bulbs looked like they were constructed halfway decently.

Happy
Arrived in a timely manner, works as expected and are actually brighter than I thought they'd be for brake brake and tail lights. Very happy, girlfriends sister has had them a month now on her daily driver with no issues or complaints.Gave 5 stars cause others want feedback and some ask for it before you even get the product. I've had them a month and have had time to use the. Kinda made it feel like they cared and were following up to make sure I was still a happy customer. I know, I know, it was probably computer generated, but it was nice to get it after some time to use them sufficiently.

but it's good to have a really bright tail light on a ...
I used the 1157 for the tail light in my 2013 KLR650. It works well, the only reason I can't rate it 5 stars is because the difference between the running light and brake light is not as much as I would prefer. Not a huge deal, but it's good to have a really bright tail light on a motorcycle.

Ooops...wrong bulb.
Installation tip below...So, I accidentally ordered the BAU15S bulb instead of the normal 1156 bulb. If you've also done this and don't feel like returning them, just file off one of the nubs and it should sit in there just fine. Just don't plan on complaining about them after doing so.As far as the brightness goes, these are brighter than a nice, german made incandescent bulb through an amber lens, but not as bright as a previous pair of amber LED bulbs that I had purchased, which also had 5630 style LEDs in them and identical frame construction. The previous pair had developed a flicker though, and these are steady. I really liked that the previous pair could be seen with direct sunlight on my taillight housing. It was an immediately apparent change in the time it took for a driver 1 lane over to react to my blinker. Hopefully these are still bright enough to do that in the sunlight. I think the last ones were a bit too blinding at night. Here's the big installation tip: SILVER SPRAY PAINT. Incandescent bulbs generate heat that causes the silver paint on most taillight housings to fail, leaving the black plastic below, which doesn't reflect much light. Do yourself a huge favor and take the whole housing out, if possible, clean it really well, tape it off, and spray it with silver/chrome or white spray paint. I did one at a time just to see if there was a difference with the same bulbs and it was a gamechanger.

Absolute crap
There are a few distinct advantages LED bulbs are supposed to have over traditional incandescent bulbs, and one of those advantages is long-life, which these DO NOT have. Sure, they're bright and they're easy to use and all that jazz, but mine failed at least three if not four times faster than any incandescent bulb of this style that I've used in my car. They lasted less than six months. Just complete garbage. There are much better options for LED replacement bulbs for your car; do not buy these or any AUXITO bulbs either. They are all terrible.

Fail after 9 months
I bought these to use in a 3 light hitch receiver cover. That said, when I am towing a trailer, this unit is not even used, so these bulbs have not seen that much use. I bought 4 because my cover has 3 lights in it. The rest of my truck is LED, so I wanted to convert this to LED as well. After 9 months, one of the bulbs started flickering. Upon inspection I noticed, that about half of the LED chips were flickering, while the rest appeared to work normally. I had an extra bulb, so no big deal. Now a few weeks later, the same thing is happening to another of the bulbs! Don't waste your money here....buy some other bulbs.....time for me to shop for better ones now! :-(

let there be light...and there wasn't
Received these LED bulbs to replace my vehicle tail/front indicators (filament bulbs)... Not the cheapest of bulbs, but I would expect the action of putting the bulb in & then removing it to change the polarity, would not end up with it disintegrating in my hand with the bayonet end stuck in the holder. I've had to hold off replacing my front indicators until I have a working pair, so that their brightness matches. The ones I managed to fit are brighter than the old filament ones & seem to be holding up ok. But I'm left disappointed having to arrange a replacement. Update..I am returning these bulbs, due to the above reason & it turns out on a lot of vehicles, fitting LED indicator bulbs results in 'hyper-flashing', where the flasher unit thinks there is a blown bulb, so faced with the hassle of fitting resistors to the circuit I thought I'd just cut my losses & go back to filament bulbs. You live & learn.

Very bright 🔆 No errors but will fast flash.
Not the best packaging as they are loose in a bag, that however is within a bubble bag and then the typical over the top cardboard box from amazon. I bought 2 sets as I was impressed with the first ones. They are super bright and radiate the Amber light very well from the side and from the front. On both sets of mine the end glass cap was loose and just needed a little turn to secure. I had no Canbus errors from the bcu or ecu, however these WILL give you a fast flash rate and you'll need to either add good quality ceramic resistors across the feed wire and earth or if your vehicle has an indicator relay, swap out for a variable resistance relay. These are all easily found online.

Very bright.
Used these to replace the rear indicators in my 2019 Skoda superb, no idea why the other two lights are led but the back ones aren’t, but hey, no matter. The light output is great, very bright. No errors on the cars screen and no hyper flash. The output is as bright if not brighter in the enclosure than the old incandescent bulbs.

NOT A GENUINE PY21 BAYONET
DONT BUY IT...IT WONT STAY LOCKED IN YOUR PY21 HOLDER......THE LOCK IS NOT ALIGNED 12-6, SO WE CANNOT INSERT THE LED BULB INTO THE SOCKET AND LOCK....I BOUGHT FOUR BULBS AND ALL FOUR IS THE SAME. MINE IS AN FULLY OFF ROAD JEEP, AFTER A WHILE DOING OFF ROAD RIDE THE BULB WONT STAY IN CONTACT PROPERLY BECAUSE IT COULD NOT BE LOCKED IN PROPERLY
