The Millionaire Maker: Act, Think, and Make Money the Way the Wealthy Do

This book teaches you how to act, think , and make money the way the wealthy do. It is a mindset that regular people are not taught. Also that it is a team effort, you need a team of professionals helping you.

Loral has put together a book that provides life examples that inspire, but may be hard to find yourself in the situation. Being a person that has filed bankruptcy before, I would have liked to see a scenerio with a client that had more challenging circumstances. Most of the examples were of people that had some assets & equity. There are, however, people in the world that have NOTHING; they're renting, driving a beater, have gone through years of layoffs which diminished any simblance of an asset, and are currently living paycheck to paycheck. I wanted to see Loral's principles help that person.The principles of starting with a Gap Analysis, Financial Baseline, etc. are good steps for anyone that is ready to start the Wealth Cycle. There are tons of nuggets to glean from this book, but the overall purpose seems to get a person to join in with Loral's Coaching program. This is all good, it's her book, and most other author's would probably promote their other products too. I just feel the book should stand alone, and not leave the reader feeling like success will not happen unless this coaching team is utilized.Final words, I would recommend the book, but would recommend in a future revised publishing to add a chapter of an example of someone whe has NOTHING. Sure, starting a cash machine is a great first step, but in my opinioin seems like a giant chasm still exists to getting to the Asset Building phase.

Overall, this book is worth reading. She goes through the fundamentals of how to become wealthier in a hurry. First, boost your income dramatically; second build equity in investments (usually rental properties). Another principle, of course, is to pay yourself first, which Loral advocates. Loral's approach is to get people to think about how to boost their income within their given interests and skill sets; and how to run a business. She uses her own terminology (i.e "gap analysis" and some other buzzwords that you have to get used to) but overall her logic is easy to follow. She goes through a number of scenarios with her before and after illustrations of people's situations. This book might really benefit people that are entrepreneurial minded - but haven't quite found their calling yet or haven't been able to hit their income goals.

she bills it as if it will help somebody work with money and in her first example the people have about two or three hundred thousand dollars starting out ... this is not for somebody who would like to build from scratch ... she knows her stuff; that is easy to see, but the book has a false advertising tinge to it ...

I really enjoyed this book.Strenghts: The details are simple enough for anyone to follow. Its kind of a light bulb moment for me. Why track debt payoffs with my current paycheck, when I could be obtaining wealth and paying these debts off much more efficiently?!?! Simply thinking. Just needed someone to kick it in to gear and Loral does that quite well. I am now on my way to utilizing my skill set to create wealth and have even signed up for some of Loral's webseminars to keep focused. My husband has even joined in and we couldn't be happier! ([...])Weaknesses: I think the book writing could have been organized in a different manner. Its organized in a chunky-fasion. Not in a flowing presentation. Hard to expain, but in no way defers from the quality skills Loral presents.I have just starting reading her new book: Cash machine for life and it is awesome!This book and others of Loral's collection is definitely a great addition to my world of knowledge and book collection!

This book is amazing, happy purchase!

This is the third one I've purchased . I'm NOT loaning this one out. One was "lost" and one was "eaten by the dog" Neither one was replaced when they started making money

Well written. If you want to learn about personal finance read this book.

the book is good - but most of it is aimed more for the American public

There is nothing new in this book. When I bought it I thought that I'll find some useful information for me, regular guy having a regular salary in an average company.Yes, the author makes people millionaires. But how and whom? People who earn hundreds of thousands a year of family income and they just don't know how to properly manage it. It's not so hard to show people where their money is and how to invest them.But the average guy with no spare money won't find a good advice in this book. All this IMHO.

The book shows how a couple with $400,000 can go on to become millionaires! They are already well on their way! The book also does a lot to promote her company. There is inspiration here, but it is not the answer if you are at the bottom looking at how to dig yourself out of your hole.
