I am in the process of replacing towels, and I am particular. So I have ordered 1 towel or the smallest set available of several towels. We have Laguna Beach Textile Co beach/pool towels that we love and all fight over, so I sought out bath towels by the same company. When I first pulled them out of the package I was thrilled, they are a great size and VERY thick and soft. They washed very nicely. Now that I have been using them for a couple weeks I realize I will keep looking because seriously they are too plush, in my opinion. I never thought that would be a problem. The washrag never dries. I use it in the AM to wash my face and at night to shower, and it is still wet or damp. And when it gets wet the weight of it feels like I am using a hand towel. And the bath towel is SO heavy, I notice it when drying off, it is so thick it kind of gets in the way of itself and it's heavy and awkward. And when I wrap my hair in it after my shower, I feel like that episode of I Love Lucy where she is trying to balance that huge dance girl head piece. So this may all be personal preference, but I will keep looking for my next set of towels. I will keep this set and try washing them a few more times, and if they settle nicely I will come back and update my review. These definitely feel soft and well made, and some people may love their thickness and plushness.

These towels are extremely plush and absorbent. Love that they are made with long strand pimo cotton and zero twist. It will make them last a long time. Thinking about getting another set I love them so much

Drying my body after a shower.

I know all girls say this but...I usually don't do this. I don't write product reviews. I didn't even think anyone would or should care to review bath towels because they are bath towels. Is there even a specific brand? What does it mean to be 800 grams that sounds shady, and who uses a whole towel set if they're not a great aunt named Mildred. Before I ordered this set on a whim, I believed that people who care to review bath towels are the kind of people who get excited about dairy-free casserole recipes. I dry myself with a stray t-shirt, sweater, cereal box container from time to time and they all do the job just fine, kind of. But today, as I sit tearing up slightly, in this towel that actually manages to wrap all the way around my entire body with extra to spare, I am humbled to report I am indeed the kind of person who writes bath towel reviews. This towel set is soft, silky, and L U X E. Big towel is the reason I lay like a luxuriating and unseemly burrito in bed all day and missed class. Small towels 1 and 2 make me the kind of person who gets really arrogant about the quality of my face washing experience. This towel makes me never want to throw in the towel (hehe.) Going to get this brands beach towel soon. Will report back.

They are really soft and thick and big. Initially, after the 1st wash, the towels shed a lot and do not absorb that great. Got better after the 2nd wash. After the 3rd wash, absorbency improved, shedding decreased, and size SHRUNK A LOT! Don't know what happened after the 3rd wash.

The towels are SOFT, large and wash beautifully. I have no complaints whatsoever. I had purchased a set of these in the past, it was my go to brand.

I guess it has been a lot of years since I bought bath towels from any company besides Bed Bath & Beyond. These towels are super plush and super absorbent.Two complaints: they don’t seem to make a bath sheet (40 x 70), and they don’t make a simple cotton bath mat I can throw in the wash with my towels. Sadly, mats seem to have gone out of style...
