Perilous Lady: An Enemies to Lovers Gang Romance: 2 (Crooked Paradise)

This one picks right up where Scorned Princess left us, with our heroine in a precarious position.There was plenty of action in this one, some of our questions were answered but a lot more remain with a big dollop of intrigue and mystery thrown in.Our Claws Princess is an amazing resourceful character and I really like her budding friendship with Anthea. I think it's the highlight for me and I just want more. Things progressed a bit more in this one with regards to her getting her harem...no spoilers tho, but there's some steam!We got to know Gideon and Wylder a bit better and saw another side of Kaige (I think he's still my favourite), I'm hoping to spend more time with Rowen in the next one. I feel like I know him the least and there has to be so much that happened since he and Mercy last saw each other prior to book one.All in all a great second book in the series and I cannot wait for book three.

I love books that start up right into the action after a past cliffhanger...and this one didn't disappoint. You find out what happens to Mercy after the previous cliffie quite early on into the book which is great because I was left hanging!I loved how Mercy's relationships with her harem started to develop more in this book, as well as how Mercy herself developed and showed the gang how much of an asset she was to them.She's a bad ass lady and I love that she doesn't NEED to be saved by her men, although she can work with them as an equal of the job requires.There were so many twists and turns, that I could not put the book down until I'd got to the end.I can't wait for book 3 to come out so I can read more about Mercy and her men!

This book does not let up! There's danger and mystery at every turn, and it doesn't let up from the first page to the last.This series isn't spicy, and it's much more focused on the action than the relationship between the characters...so if you're looking for a steamy read, this one won't be for you.I tend to like a lot more steam in a romance (and I almost don't even want to class this as one, since so little time is devoted towards romance) but the story itself is so engaging that I find myself not minding as much.Recommended if you're looking for an action packed book with a strong FMC. Would suggest something different if you're looking for a love story.

I have stalked this book release after the BRUTAL cliffhanger in book 1 (I broke a kindle on that, genuinely, first time I rage quit a book LMAO).Second book in the series, feels like more danger, more potential for betrayal, and more questions than answers throughout. Mercy continues to show she can look after herself, yet it complemented by the men around her, who are less and less able to suggest she has any weakness. She is SUCH a badass.I have to say that Gideon kind of stole my heart a bit in the first book, so its good to see him get some dedicated attention both from Mercy, the other guys and in his role within the story as it evolves too.His skills are sorely needed, and alongside the brute force of Kaige, the leadership or Wylder and the mystery that still is her first love... I want to know what happened there, it's frustrating me so I know it will be good.

Stars given on level of engagement;5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged. .

This is an excellent book with Lots of high action, mysteries, and injuries to keep you on the edge of your seat. The many battles with guns, bombs, even a potential Domme scene... It really would tickle me if Domme Mercy flipped the tables on the Nobel Leader, with his mistake in assuming her Date involved forced Sex.... I hope in the next book in the series she uses the Devils... I am certain Logan will remember she didn't tell anyone she Dominated him and he didn't do much of anything to her, so why would she try to put out a hit on him... Clearly the Noble family has an issue. I recommend the whole series but read them in order or you'll miss out on the excitement of this series.

Mercy Katz the sole survivor of her families slaughter who went running to the Nobles who run paradise city finally gets her revenge on Colt. I'm going to spoil it for you but she's brilliant and I really love the unfolding story of her and the 4 men who can't resist her. Steamy in places but it fits well into the story. Just who is the mysterious character who is leaving the nasty gifts? You will have to wait until the end for a very gory and stunning end of this part to get a strange clue. Happy reading!!!

mercys out for revenge colt has murdered her entire family and wants her dead,so mercys turns to the nobles of paradise hill for help but before they will help her she has to prove herself. Even after all the tests they put her through mercy comes out on top she is stronger then they think and her determination to destroy colt is solid. Along the way she has some steamy scenes with kaige gideon and wylder.. just when you think youve won someone pops up to destroy it all... looks like the fights only just beginning
