Significant Improvement Over the Halogen Bulb
I've owned a Surefire 6P for over 20 years and the halogen bulb finally died a couple days ago. I was never impressed by the performance of the stock halogen bulb so I decided to give one of these LED conversion bulbs a shot. There's simply no comparison when it comes the brightness level. This conversion kit is immensely brighter than the original bulb and was several dollars cheaper than buying a replacement halogen bulb from Surefire. Fitment is a bit of an issue. For the Surefire 6P, you have to remove the large brass spring and set it aside and then pull the smaller brass spring at the base out by maybe an eighth to a quarter of an inch to get good contact. But that took about 20 seconds to figure out. Definitely satisfied with my purchase and recommend these conversion kits to anyone who owns the 6P.

Nice
These bulbs are so much brighter than the OEM bulb that came with my light, and in law enforcement, you need a bright light. The bulb does come with a spring on the back that needs to come off to use with my light, but other than that it fits perfectly and works with no issues.

Very important!!!! See review
You must turn you batteries in reverse polarity for this to work. Once you figure that out VERY BRIGHT!!

How does it fit in Surefire 6p flashlight...
Lots of reviews claiming it does not fit (replace) 6p inc bulb. I can see how these reviews happen. I have two of those hand held Surefire 6p tactical lights with the contact button on the rear of the light. One of the lights older than the first by a few years. Both lights pretty useless with a 200 lm inc bulb. Took a flyer on these led replacements. One bulb fit one Surefire perfectly with the new spring. The other fit perfectly *without* any spring! I then compared flashlight casings. In short, Surefire flashlights seem cut differently from batch to batch, or year to year. Not a problem with Surefire replacement bulbs as they are designed differently to accept such tolerance diff’s. These light do not accept such differences, yet they fit with a bit of fiddling, such as spring shortening/removal. The manufacturer suggestion of using the original Surefire springs seems bogus. My original manufacturer Surefire 6p replacement lamps have a completely different spring concept, and I can’t imagine how they could be attached to this bulb replacement. So what can I say useful? The bulbs are bright, very bright. 1000 or 1100, or 1200 lm? Who can say. I’ve got some smallish flashlights that claim 600 lm and they seem just as bright. Suffice to say these bulbs are bright enough to heat the flashlight and if the beam is shined on your hand you can feel it. The light is “bright white”, probably close to 5000 kelvin. What I bought these bulbs for was the ability to accept rechargeable 123a batteries which usually produce 3.7 v—two of which would exceed the typical 6v of the typical non-rechargeables. These led bulbs are very forgiving and worked fine under increased voltage. I also tested them on the older non-rechargeable 3v batt’s. They operated fine and seem just as bright. And of course as a bonus, the led builds tend to be pretty rugged in the field. I remember inc lights breaking with frequency when mounted to a firearm. In closing, I probably would have been better off just buying a new pair of flash lights—ones designed for an led bulb since the price of these things is now so cheap and the variety seemingly infinite, but it’s also kind of nostalgic to retain the original lights I trained on and learned to use in the field. YMMV

Fits the Surefire G2
Must remove the big spring in order to fit the original Surefire G2. Very bright especially compared to the original Surefire bulb. Great value for the two bulb assemblies, would definitely recommend 👍

Caveat emptor
They're bright but they don't fit my flashlight body. There's about a quarter inch gap between the head and the body. Not good.

Not quite 2000 lumens....but stlll pretty good.
Easy, drop-in for p60 style flashlights. Decent price for what you get. About the going rate, fast free shipping with prime so that helps. Does come out a with a little ringy-ness so if you want a clean beam/ corona, this isn't the one. I got the 1-mode version for tactical simplicity with a cheap wfb02b host and it is quite bright. Clearly not 2000 lumens next to known, rated lights but i would say roughly 1500-1800 lumens or so. Still worth the price if you need to drop-in and go!
