My only complaint with this machine is that it starts beeping when the reservoir fills up. It wakes me up (set up in my bedroom). It would be nice if you could disable that beeping.

I have been trying this dehumidifier for a week, each day I dumped the water one day I saw this oily black mark. I cleaned it place it back and again. I expect an explanation from the company.

It’s slow about drying out 400 sqft, but it does the trick. The 1 thing that I don’t like is it will heat up the area that it’s drying, by a couple of degrees.

I recently purchased a dehumidifier for my basement and I’m so glad I did! The dehumidifier is really easy to use and set up was very quick. I also like that it’s quiet, so it’s not too disruptive in my home. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a dehumidifier!

supposed to be a 50 pint but the water bucket is so small that it will not run all night. very disappointed

Like the fact that it runs quietly, however, we should have ordered the larger unit. Empty more often. Other than that, ok

I bought this dehumidifier because I had water running down my basement walls. It cleared up the dampness in less than 48 hours and has kept it steady ever since. The different options make it easy to keep it running in the background OR to set it for something specific when I need to.The true test was hanging wet laundry down there (it's the only spot in my house where I can hang-dry clothes, which I prefer over using the dryer). I set this dehumidifier to the appropriate setting and followed the instructions to hang the clothes where the dried air was directly hitting them - and I was very impressed when the clothes dried in a reasonable time AND the basement stayed at the right humidity.The filter is a thin screen that I make a point of cleaning regularly, and since I just got the product a few months ago it remains to be seen how well the hose fitting holds up in the back. However, so far I have drained this product both ways (using the built-in tank as well as draining it out with a hose) and both have worked the way they're supposed to, so no complaints there.Overall, this does exactly what it's supposed to and I appreciate the extra functionality of the different settings. Definitely recommend!

This is a great little humidifier for a single room. It's very quiet. The company also stands behind their products I had a small problem when it arrived and the service department immediately sent me a new one.

The media could not be loaded.  I absolutely LOVE this dehumidifier!!! I used to have a digital Honeywell brand which worked fabulous but sold it before realizing I’d still need it in my new residence (Studio w/den apt). However, that gave me clarity on what I loved & wanted in a portable dehumidifier. I had a great feeling moving forward with this Hogarlabs brand unit & am so pleased that it was a white colour-yay! The wheels are so convenient for moving around yet it is light enough to pick up & easy to do with the built in hand holds✅. It’s a smart unit & a no-brainer to run & set and has the added support of having a continuous drain with hose supplied with it as well!!! I kept the foam insert that it was packaged in for delivery for the bottom/wheels so that when I go on vacation I can set it safely on the counter and let it drain in the sink if I want. The digital setting controls are perfect for my needs🌈 This is truly a reliable, supportive addition to my ‘castle’. I’ve been using it consistently for weeks now & it runs beautifully & the noise level is equal to a small fan & when off to the side of where you are you it’s a comfortable hum. I needed it to maintain ideal humidity levels for my beloved reptiles-dumerils. In the summer my place gets super humid yet I have to keep my a/c cooling setting always on despite that is has a dehumidifying option cause it gets super hot & uncomfortable for me when I switch it so this Hogarlabs dehumidifier is the bomb!! I’m comfortable & my dumerils are comfortable & breathing easy☔️🎉 To boot there are no replaceable filters to buy cause everything is washable & reuseable. This is exactly what I wanted & know suits my needs & satisfaction— Thank you Hogarlabs for such a beautiful & efficient appliance and a true compliment to my home & wellbeing & that of my animal family members-lol🏡 ⚡️💖

Made a significant change in dampness level in our basement quickly. Too small for the square footage as I need to empty tank 2 or 3 times a day however have switched it to continuous run so that should solve problem. Only drawbacks are the power cord could be longer and the drainage tube for continuous run is made of thin plastic so if it gets stepped on etc., it will wreck it. Overall, I like it though.

This one really pulls a lot of water from the air in my basement. I would recommend the hose going to a drain. Maybe it is just my basement but the reservoir fills up quick. At least I know it is doing its job! It is fairly quiet and looks nice and modern. If there is one improvement is that the humidity number indicator on front should be blue not white. The number is hard to read in normal light, a blue light would have been much easier. Otherwise very good unit.

Our basement was 77% and main floor in the 60’s. The humid air bothers my lungs with asthma. This dehumidifier collects sooo much water. It’s been running 24hrs now and I’ve emptied the tank 3x. Should have bought a bigger one but once the humidity is better we will set it up in the basement furnace room with the provided hose for continuous drainage. Our home is about 50% now and am hoping to get it to 40ish. Our home is between 1500-2000sq feet for reference. Very very quiet machine. Love it so far

I purchased this unit to help with the humidity in our basement. Model worked well for its intended purpose. Although it stopped working after a year and half, which seems to happen with all brands of dehumidifiers, Hogarlabs’ warranty and service is hands down the best. They helped me troubleshoot the unit and sent me a brand new one at no charge once we determined the original could not be fixed.
