1/4" x 100 FT. Shock Cord - STD

I used this stuff to make a dog leash zipline for camping. I used a rope for the zipline but used this shock coord to attach the dog to the line. I wanted to make sure the dog could roam free but not tangle itself up in a rope, or trip other people. This worked way better than expected. My 50lb Pit and 60lb German Shepherd could comfortably stretch the line without choking themselves or showing any discomfort. It also gave them plenty of freedom of movement. When they were playing, they easily stretched the 7 feet I gave them out to 18ish feet before it pulled them back in. Normally when running it to the max they would start to slow down then just curve back in. However, my Pit got over excited and slingshot-ted himself once. He probably pulled it close to 3x the normal length before he got pulled straight back and a little up. He landed on his feet and clearly had no idea what happened. I thought it was hilarious. No harm done.

I got this to rethread my recumbent Greenspeed GTO trike seat. The cord was original from 1999 and this brought it back to life in short order woven through the back like a corset for tension so the seat cover can fit your body shape and provide some cushion on bumps but spring right back. I've got enough that I can change it out again on both my trikes in another 20 years or so. :) Didn't make much of a dent in the roll, but it cost so little it's worth having around for other projects.

we purchased this for our 2000 Coleman pop up camper. it fits the old bunk end hooks and is the same diameter of cord as the old. moe than enough to do both bunk ends with lots to spare for other projects. IE: kayak hole covers.

The shock cord on our pop-up camper was dry rotting. We replaced it with this and it works great! I would say the only "problem" is there is WAY too much cord on a roll. We have enough to last the next 50 years. ;)

Love the idea of making my own bungee cords to fit my purpose. A lot cheaper then buying the containers that hold different sizes that never seem to fit what you are trying to do

I needed a replaced the worn shock cords on two outdoor lounger/recliner. It worked great! My lafuma and another Zero gravity recliner are like new and I have enough to do two or three more! You can pay more for the Zero gravity chair OEM universal replacement elastic bungee cords but this is a great replacement, not to mention the savings, and you have enough to do several more!

I was initially surprised that the spool is only about 7" tall. But it worked great! We used it to make this for our daughter's toy collection. The lower part is a stuffed animal "zoo" and the upper section is a large doll crib.
