Should have purchased sooner!
I put off buying the Neotec 2 for a long time due to the cost and the thought that my old helmet was good enough. This helmet is very comfortable and much quieter than my RF1100. I like the convenience of the drop down shades, modular design, and pin lock fog protection. On a four hour ride, didn’t even take the helmet off when stopping for fuel; just flipped open the front, could take a drink, etc. Not having to mess with sunglasses or switch the front visor was nice too. I should have bought this helmet long ago.

Its really a nice helmet but I don't think I will do this again
The helmet is exactly what it is suppose to be, I personally don't care for the ratchet type chin strap but it does what it's suppose to do so that's good. Seems to be ok as far as wind noise goes, Nothing to different from my older LS2 Modular helmet. The shield and the modular aspect work as expected, Or as you would hope it would for the cost of this helmet. The optional Sena system does fit right in and work surprisingly well. But, Since we were speaking of cost, After owning a shoei now I think it will be my last one. I tried to love this helmet but I just can't love it. I like it. I also get it, There is no cost you can put on you're melon. That being said, I honestly think it is rediculas to have to spend this kind of money just to feel protected. Long and short of it, If this is in your price range and you think this is you're helmet, it is a nice helmet. If you really don't have this kind of money and there are other things you could spend your money on, bypass this. You can get a good helmet for less than half the cost which is what I will do on my next purchase.

Would not recommend
It’s noise quality is bad for me. I wish I bought the fixed helmet instead of the flip up
