I literally got what I paid for.

it did fit
I am happy with this purchase..it works..but is made of the cheapest plastic material on the cover that could found..I don't expect it to last very long until I have to replace the cheap back rest..it is stuffed with Styrofoam..not even foam that would be in a low grade bed pillow.

Not what expected
When I purchased this item, I was under the impression that it would fit, according to the description. So it finally came in the mail , and I was hoping it would fit. I took my seat off and really examined it. And sadly it didn't fit. The bolt pattern on the seat is different from my bolt pattern on my bike. So I sent it back and got a refund. By the way, I have a 2006 Yamaha 650 vstar custom motorcycle.

looks good
Placed on a 2000 vstar 1100. Works well and looks allright. Chances how the back feels after riding, its better. Only issue now I have to swing my leg higher and finding the screw holes is only poss if you remove cover and replace after finding holes.

Very good backrest
Very good backrest fit straight on nó messing about with it... Have a OEM back rest but this one is a lot stronger and the cushion is also wider so more comfy.... I highly recommend

I had the backrest for two years now and have to say that it was the best modification to improve comfort while bike riding. I am 187cm tall. It reduced my back ache significantly. After two years the backrest looks like new. Its very sturdy. Good value for money

Does not fit the bike that it’s pictured with!!!!
I am very upset with this purchase. All my trouble would have been avoided if anywhere on the description said does not fit a custom ONLY the classic model I would not have purchased this backrest. Also the fact that it’s pictured on a custom model really does not help the matter I suggest that the company change the picture and add the pretty important note that it literally will not work for the bike we show it on and stop falsely advertising this
