Huge, Sturdy, Fits Family of 3
-Build Quality: 5The chair feels like it's incredibly sturdy, like I was in it ~235lbs and my wife ~135lbs, with our ~23lb baby, sat on my lap and the chair didn't move AT ALL. No compression in the cylinder, no deflections anywhere in the chair in the slightest. The base and casters are huge, and inspire confidence, not to mention the casters being so large means it rolls really easy (if you race them, big plus there). Materials all seem sound, after watching videos of DXRacer chairs being disassembled with saws we see that these have tubular steel frames, which is awesome. The covering material is leather style vinyl, and is fairly thick. Not sure yet on whether or not it holds or reflects heat yet, will update later. The tilting mechanism that also sits between the bottom of the chair and the gas spring is quite heavy, like 15-20lbs heavy, again, inspiring confidence.-Instructions: 5Single sheet, two sided, mostly black and white but does have red highlights to show which piece is relevant in the step. Also a second sheet for assembling the base, if you're an "I'll look at the instructions if I mess up" guy like myself, I would recommend just peeking quick at the second sheet as it is easy to put the color matching plastic covers on the base only to realize you have to take them off again (recommend pliers) so you can 'properly' (between the plastic and the base) install the black triangles that give you traction on the edges of the base. Do note that there appears to be dust covers for the cylinder in the instructions but there isn't any in the box. After looking at pictures online I noticed that there isn't one in the pictures, thought it was missing, guess it isn't.-Quality Control: 4.9They did include one of each of: 1 large bolt, 1 smaller bolt, 1 larger lock-washer, 1 smaller lock-washer, and 1 smaller flat washer. Which is awesome (product R&D idea, put a spare hole for each in the bottom of the chair so keeping track of them is a no brainer). All bolts and washers come pre-installed in their spots, great touch (minus one lock washer on the seat back which really could have dropped into the chair as the flat washer did when I removed them but I fished the flat one out). There are pockets on the back of the chair that didn't appear to be mentioned anywhere (which is where I'm storing the spare parts minus the caster). Upper pocket is 10" wide x 5.5" tall, depth looks to be about 1" on average, max almost 1 3/4". Lower one is the width of the chair, 21" wide x 11" tall x 2" deep most of the way. There is a divider sewn in here about 6.5" from the right side that runs the whole height of this pocket (good idea R&D on that divider as I'm sure it would greatly reduce any sag of due to weight in that pocket).Notes on Sizing: Let's start with the chair is huge. Reference, I'm 6'1", 235lbs, fairly athletically built, and if I sit all the way back in the chair and extend my spine as much as I can, the base of my neck barely reaches the bottom of the integrated headrest, my head hits the headrest about dead center. Another dimension, sitting all the way back in the chair, and legs perpendicular to the ground, my calves are touching the edge of the seat. This is to the point that I don't feel that I can put my feet on the base when sitting like that. DXRacer website stats recommend max dimensions of 6'2" and 450lbs, and recommended dimensions are 5'9"-6'1" and 425lbs, link below. Being in the taller end of the recommended range and feeling like this chair just might be just too big for me, take those numbers with a grain of salt (at least the height).Notes on included lumbar pillow: It's big, like only comfortable if you're sitting forward in the chair and not leaning your shoulders and head back to be supported by the back rest. Also some people mentioned somewhere that there wasn't a way to secure it to the chair, there is. The center part of backrest can be pulled out enough to get the velcro strap around it and it holds the pillow perfectly, even sliding and staying nicely. Though I prefer not to use it, it's nice to have the option.Notes on armrests: They adjust in 4 different ways independently; slide forward+back, slide in+out, slide up+down, and rotate in+out. Nice to have all that adjustability, I don't know what I'll do with it, but it's nice to have.So if you're looking for a very large chair, that looks sharp (would prefer red but it's been sold out for weeks now), and your budget allows, this is a solid chair that you should be happy with. Do note it was a 87lb package with dimensions about 40"x32"x18", it's big, and it's heavy. If you're a stronger individual you can manage by yourself, except in tighter spots, but if you have someone help in those tight spots moving the box becomes a breeze.[...]

Too stiff
It's really solid and tanky. Unfortunately it's not comfortable. Really you need to be 7"3 500lbs to fit in this chair properly.

Highly disappointed, will never buy DxRacer again.
First off this chair is uncomfortable. You can tell there is a little bit of a cushion but it honestly just feels like they wrapped plastic in leather and called it comfortable.Secondly, the base of the chair is tilted backwards slightly instead of being flat. This is annoying as hell especially if you're like me and like to lean forward a bit when you get into intense fights in games.Third, they didn't include the plastic piece that is supposed to go over the chair piston and the plastic on the knob on the bottom of the chair came cracked.Fourth, the chair is wobbly. If I'm paying this much for a chair I'd honestly expect it to be sturdy as hell. If you lean side to side in the chair you can feel it wobble.EDIT: Fifth, the arm rests on this chair are ridiculously short. It is like they took them off of a child's chair and put them on here. If you're going to make a big and TALL chair, why would you include arm rests that are too short to actually use? This last one is kicking it down to one star.Overall I highly regret wasting the money on this extremely overpriced underwhelming chair.

The Good: strong frame feels like it will last for ...
The Good: strong frame feels like it will last for a long time. built with quality material. The Neutral: Dense fome cushions feels like I am setting on a brick. The Bad: False advertising there is no ergonomic design in the seat or the back at all. The 1 extra pad they give you for a back arch is to think and stiff forcing me to bow my back in a uncomfortable manor. The chair also rocks side to side by about a quarter inch or less and forward and back by almost a full inch.

Easy to assemble
Easy to assemble. Very heavy, but also sturdy.Only complaint from initial sitting - I'm 6'3" with a long upper body and the top pad hits about 2 inches down on my shoulders and across my back instead of at the curve of my neck, and there's no way to move the pad up or down. Not sure if I'll be able to handle this discomfort long term.I really want to like this chair because it's strong and comfortable, but this might end up being $400 down the drain...

Great chair! Should have bought sooner.
Super fast shipping. Box showed up a little beaten up, but nothing was damaged inside. Assembled in less than an hour using all tools supplied with chair. I'm a big guy, 6'3", 330 lbs, 44" waist, and 36" inseam. There is still ample wiggle room in chair. I could wear a pair of insulated coveralls and still fit in it comfortably. I find it fairly comfortable right now, but once the cushions get broke in, this chair is going to be amazing.

You get what you pay for.
Awesome, comfortable chair for big guys and gals. I am 6'3" about 275lbs and this chair is good enough to sleep in. I know the price is up their but you get what you pay for. I have purchased cheaper chairs over the years 4 in total all ranging from $200 to $250 bucks and all were crappy quality, uncomfortable or just broke down after a year or so. This chair I will likely have until I die and its worth every penny.
