quieter and good but has some limitations
Like most drummers who practice at home noise is an issue. I have tried all sorts of things to reduce the noise and thought I would give these a go.If you are just playing normally without drags then these are brilliant. However you get very little rebound from them so if you do want to play drags I don’t think they work that well. Of course that could just be poor technique on my part, but I get a great buzz from my wooden sticks so not sure it’s me.The feel is pretty good so if you just want to practice the music with no frilly work then I think these are pretty good.Mine lasted about 12 months before the shaft broke and the only other issue I had was the plastic tips flying out! Superglue soon fixed that! Happy enough with them to have ordered another pair!

Great silent sticks
Good reduction of sound on drum heads and cymbals. There is an understandable reduction in feel/technique when compared to using regular drum sticks, but they perform their function well. Seem well made and should last a while but overpriced for what they are. For silent practice late at night I use on a couple of moongel pads to play around with various sticking patterns/rudiments and it is the quietest setup I have found, really almost silent. Techniques available using this method are limited but it is ideal for me when too late to play on a standard pad or acoustic kit.

Not much quieter
Because the sticks are lighter and feel more fragile I can tell I put less energy into stokes, but if you play single hits you can't really hear much of a difference in volume. It is a little quieter, but isn't going to be much better for neighbours so recommend mesh heads or pads instead.

No good
Pros: Handling is good, sound is clear on drums and cymbals.Cons: I wasn't expecting them to be silent, but I was hoping for more of a reduction in sound. The playing still sounds very loud. More importantly, they broke after a month of reasonable use. Sadly they just don't seem up to the job.

Does the job on a real kit.
These feel like real sticks. They certainly reduce the volume enough for me to play a lot in a boomy church without a Perspex drum cage. Not brilliant on a ride cymbal - but good enough. Also, doesn’t quite have the snap I like for rim shots on the snare - but you can adapt to make it work. Overall, I am really pleased and prefer them to rods.

Poor quality.
A great idea poorly executed. The nylon heads are not fixed in place, and I completely lost one of mine. A drop a super glue to fix them in place before use may have cured that. Disappointed that the manufacturers didn't see that happening.

Adoro silent sticks
Probably notnas quiet as expected apart from the cymbals. Good feel though but obviously not as responsive as a wooden stick.

Definitely quiet with a stick feel
They perform as advertised. Much better than playing with hot rod sticks. Like playing with sticks that can be quiet or loud. Mine are compared to size 7A. Very smooth on ride cymbals. I purchased two pair.
