The shark fin life jacket looks cute and we get a lot of comments and complements. That said, the life jacket foam is very thin and I question how much buoyancy this actually provides - it’s more of a float assist than a full flotation device. We got this because we have an older 80lb golden retriever we like to take out on the water. He loves to jump off the boats, but it isn’t always easy to get him back aboard, so I like knowing he has a little assistance to stay afloat while we figure it out. We still use this (about 5 times now), but the thin/weak materials and cheap construction don’t give me much confidence that it is really doing much. More of a fashion piece. That said, we pretty much expected all of this when we saw it listed for so cheap.

The media could not be loaded.  Ordered 5 of these already! They are adjustable which nice not knowing how they will fit. The labradoodle is about 68 lbs and wearing an XL. The Aussie is average size and she is wearing Large and the Aussiedoodle is around 36 lbs wearing a Medium. They both wore a small when they were puppies. Attached is a photo of them together to get an idea of size. They all know how to swim. We use them because they love to swim so much and jump in the water and sometimes way too close to each other. The have bossy paws and can easily push each other under without trying to. They tire themselves out and without the jacket, they sometimes forget to keep their butts up to float. I like the handle on the top of their back to grab them out of the water or separate them when they get too crazy. The color is vibrant when you get them. We have a chlorine pool and they fade. Plus, we don't rinse them off. Since we don't rinse them, ours dry rotted and the straps started tearing off. The rest of the structure is holding up but we got new ones (2023). We started rinsing them off this year.

This life jacket looks so stylish and cute on my dog. He goes on the boat with us to the lake and he jumps in sometimes. He is a good swimmer but I feel safer with him wearing this life vest. He loves wearing it and everyone thought he was so cute during Shark Week. Love it.

This flotation device is simply adorable! The large fits Mickey, she’s a thick girl, but not big. About 55 pounds. We have not tried it in the water yet, so we may have an update.
