Love this box. It is super light, which was surprising. But the box itself works beautifully and lends a sense of French country style ambiance to the counter top.

This breadbox is the perfect size and shape.
We chose the box for its size (small-ish) and shape (rectangular), not style...not even sure what 'rustic' and 'retro' mean in the context of breadbox "decor". It works well; holds the bread items for which we bought it; fits on our kitchen counter; and is easily accessed by lifting the lid.

This is made with ultra thin wood slats… I was actually disappointed bc the breadbox feels and looks very cheap, although it looks great from a distance but as far as quality goes, I gotta give it a low 3…
