Field Notes for Food Adventure: Recipes and Stories from the Woods to the Ocean

My fiancé has followed brads YouTube channel for a long time. This book is great full of nice recipes I definitely recommend

The book and it’s contents are great and I was so excited to order this. However it arrived slightly damaged after a long transit so was slightly disappointed but I didn’t want to re-order it as it traveled a long way.

As others have said, this is very much a review of two halves. The actual content of the book is very good, albeit the design and page layouts won't be to everybody's taste. But it is definitely a book that pushes you to try new thingsHOWEVER, the manufacturing on the book itself is absolutely appalling - it's already starting to fall apart after a few weeks of very light handling. If you're really interested in purchasing it, I'd either wait for it to hit Kindle, or at least till the next print run...

Arrived nearly a month late, I preordered as well.Then as soon as I opened it I found the binding was broken on the cover.The recipes are great but the whole style and typography make the whole thing difficult to read and follow.Very disappointing considering how much I’m a fan of Brad leone.

The contents of the book is fantastic, feels very personal.But it's falling apart, it arrived with the hard cover falling of the pages.

I love this cookbook. Everything I've made out of it has been delicious without being super complex. I like how it is organized into the seasons, and you feel Brad's excitement about every recipe. Highly recommend.

This book was on my to purchase as soon as I heard of it. Then I heard of the binding issue. And thought, ah, Canada, ours are probably okay, right? No. I received the falling apart book. And though I want to try to purchase again, I don't know how or when to receive a good copy. I'm sad for Brad. This is terrible for him. I'm sad for me too, because I really want this book!

I love watching him on Bon Appetiet<sp>. Great Chef with a love for life! Fun read and great recipies!

Only issue is the shipping creased the book cover a bit which is a pain but I’ll live. :) great book Brad!

This book is fantastic. We love Brad Leone. However the shipping method was a bad idea. They put the book in one of those white amazon bags without and protection. The dust jacket was torn so I had to throw it away. The book itself has and edge that looks like it was hit against the edge of a counter. It was a gift to my wife so I was disappointed but I didnt have time to return it. bummed
