Works well in a variety of conditions
Have had 1 device in a walk-in-closet and 1 device out in the garage (which experiences huge swings in temperature/humidity levels). Both devices have worked flawlessly, automatically turning on lights upon entry into each room/area for ~4 years

Works well!!
Works well!! I bought LED lights for my garage with motion sensors that never worked properly, then discovered this motion sensor outlet which works like a charm!!

Super easy to install, works just the way I wanted it to
This worked exactly the way I wanted. The sensor range seems a little bit narrow and the 4-second timer doesn't seem to work at all (but I don't want to use it anyway), but once I got it placed correctly and set it to 1 minute on the timer it worked beautifully. I'm using two of them as separate sensors for shop lights over two different sections of the garage. It only turns on the one that I'm near and then automatically turns off after I leave. Perfect!

Stopped turning off after a month or so
Bought 2 of these for garage lights. One of them stopped working and will not turn off. The sensor can only be mounted upright to the wall - I wish it is mountable upside down as well.

Give the device about 3 seconds to turn on.
I like the quick automatic power available whenever I’m walking through my dark hallway. This comes in very handy and keeps the electrical usage low.

Very Unreliable
There are a few things you should know about this motion sensor before you buy it.1. It does not have a light sensor so it will turn on the plugged in load day or night. So if you don’t want your lights to turn on with motion during the daytime when lights are not needed, this will not work for you. It will waste energy by turning on the lights automatically when lights are not needed2. It is very sensitive and turns on when there is no motion and can stay on way longer than the setting you selected (e.g. 1 minute). I installed one of these in my garage and one in a hallway coat closet. In each location there is a LED strip light connected to the motion sensor. In the garage, the LED strip turns on all day long even though there is no one in the garage. I observed the recorded videos from a garage camera and the light strip turns on at least once per 30 minute interval and then turns off several minutes later. It does this day and night when no one is in the garage. I tried installing the motion sensor in different locations on the garage wall from 2 feet from the ground to 6 feet from the ground. The height did not stop the light from turning on when no one was in the garage. I have several other motion sensors in the garage controlling other lights and they do not turn on unless someone is in the garage near the sensor. Again, I watched the behavior of this motion sensor on the recorded camera video for several days.3. The motion sensor I installed in the coat closet worked great at turning on the LED light when the door was opened and it detected a person. But when the door was closed with the motion sensor inside the closet it did not turn off the light at the specified time period. I set the turn off time to 1 minute and sometimes it would take 10 minutes to turn off the light. I suspect that because the LED light strip casted light on the motion sensor it interpreted the light as motion somehow. So I lowered the motion sensor to 2 feet off the ground and shielded it from the LED light strip. It then worked reliably. The motion sensors performed so poorly that I thought the first two I ordered were defective and exchanged them. The replacement motion sensors behaved exactly the same.

A real Motion Sensor
Very satisfied with these motion sensors. The sensors allow setting the time-on for the plugged-in light from 4 seconds up to 20 minutes. Very pleased to discover that the sensors are real motion sensors, not light-darkness sensors. The six feet between the electrical plug and the sensor allow easy positioning of the sensors and the lamp for night light. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a motion sensor.

Works in the day or night.
I’ve had it for over two months so far in two places and it works great.
