I am blown away by this speaker!
I just received this speaker today and ran it through the gamut: classical, metal, pop, 8 bit, and more. I was absolutely impressed with the amount of bass this puts out. I was worried that I would loose the depth of sound in Tocatta in Fugue in D Minor (the classical Halloween song) with the train wreck chords in the beginning and it sounded fantastic! Mid range has a rich full sound as well, the french horn and trumpet parts in the Imperial March (Darth Vader's song) were beautiful! Now the high range I did have to adjust, for me personally it was a little too bright, almost tinny. I noticed it less in the classical music but once I switch to pop and 8 bit it was VERY noticeable. I just went into the equalizer in my music app, I was using Spotify, and turned the top three down some and it corrected it for me. I was also using close to full volume because I really wanted to see what it could do.The look of this speaker is phenomenal and one major reason I went with this one over others. Sleek with a slight retro look, it's perfect for my home. The size is actually a little bit bigger than I had imagined it, no cause for issue though, it was a pleasent surprise! It was packaged nicely and had no damage to it at all. I also want to mention it came in a perfect sized shipping box.I can't say much on battery life since I just received it but I played it at a pretty loud volume for about 2.5 hours straight out of the box with no charging and there was no low battery indicator. I also appreciate that when I disconnected to get my kids ready for bed after a while the speaker shut itself off to preserve battery life.As far as the bluetooth goes it was super simple to connect to, just turn it on scan for devices with your phone and select it. I was walking all over my house so I could hear it from different areas. It's 3 levels, roughly 1900 sq ft and I didn't have any connectivity issues at all.I would 100% recommend this speaker, especially for the price! I was originally looking at much more expensive speakers but I'm so happy I went with this one! My original reason to purchase a speaker was to play Halloween music outside during trick or treat, which I now know will be awesome, but my family is absolutely going to be enjoying this speaker for impromptu dance parties as well!

I wasn't totally comfortable with getting this speaker due to complaints about the ...
I don't often write reviews, but I think this speaker deserves it. I wasn't totally comfortable with getting this speaker due to complaints about the usb charging port breaking loose, and I'm not familiar with the company, but they claimed to have remedied the issue and other reviews spoke so highly of it. I'm glad I went for it, because it was worth every dollar. I don't think you will find a comparable product until you enter the $200+ bracket. To begin with, the construction and design are top notch. The buttons on top are pretty standard, but they do have great tactile feedback. I'm not a huge fan of the micro usb for charging, but it suffices. The bamboo enclosure is very heavy and truly elegant. Overall this guy feels solid as a brick and definitely wins some style points. But what good are the looks if it doesn't sound good? Fortunately, they have that area covered too.I wouldn't call myself an audiophile, but I enjoy quality speakers and accurate sound reproduction. This speaker does not disappoint. I tested every single bluetooth speaker at best buy before purchasing this, and nothing was even comparable in this price range. At times the bass can feel a little boomy, maybe overpowering, and sometimes even a little sloppy when you max out the volume(depending on genre), but the mids are insane. The upper end is so balanced. There are no tinny or sibilant highs with recessed mids to be found here. I always test new speakers or headphones with Pink Floyd's album "The Final Cut". This guy passed with flying colors. Roger Waters' voice sounded remarkable lifelike. In my opinion, the speaker sounded best when in the 80-90% volume range, but that is mainly due to the booming bass getting out of hand on max volume. That may warrant a bit of low end EQ tinkering depending on the type of music you listen to. But yeah, this thing is awesome. Oh did I mention the battery life? I've had this thing singing all day long and it just never wants to die.Get this speaker. You will not be disappointed...

My most favorite purchase of my life
One of the best purchases I’ve ever made sad to see it’s not available right now. I’ve had mine for over 8 years and it still works perfectly, the sound is amazing it can make all types of music sound awesome. The charging ability has gone down over time but you can still get a good amount of time with it. My favorite part is the air hole in the back I like to listen to music with base and feel the air push out. By far one of my most favorite items in my life

Beautiful speaker, great battery life sound quality maybe average nice high and mids
Based on the reviews and look purchased this Bluetooth speaker. We have owned a few different types and was hoping this would exceed expectations. First this is a beautiful well built unit with plenty of battery life. After hooking up via Bluetooth (very easy) was very impressed with the dual tweeter design - very clear smooth mid and highs. Was disappointed with the bass response. It does try very hard however maybe reaches to 80Hz -100Hz and not much more with not alot of oomph. Tried different settings on our iphone and still really not impressed. Would I purchase again - maybe as my last observation is that when grabbing the unit to move - be very careful - you do not want to touch the speaker surface so a little sensitive to moving this beauty. Hope this helps
