Great Brace-Post Op Ruptured Achilles...
I can't say enough about this brace...I'm approx 9 weeks post op (Achilles Rupture), and last week was given the green light from my Dr. to learn/teach myself to walk again. The last few days had been rough ("baby steps" right), with pain in my foot (10+weeks of NWB) and just plain awkwardness, so I I figured I would try this brace. First to give myself some confidence in protecting the tendon, and second for the wedge support to take some of the flex/weight off the tendon itself.So I just received the brace and threw it on to give it try, already I can tell a difference in the pain/comfort, and the peace of mind for the protection. If you're like me (post op) or have Achilles issues, I would highly recommend the brace, so far so good! Granted I'm not up and running marathons (yet), but I can definitely feel more comfort and less pain with the BraceAs previous the previous reviews stated...the only negative thus far is the cost, but at this point anything is worth it to help me walk again without my crutches.

It Helps
I was not sure if this support would help my painful achilies heel. However, I am happy to say that during flare ups it really does seem to make a difference.
