Not for kids—even with just nerf darts.
Fires nerf darts, but shoots them much harder than a nerf gun. Decided someone could lose an eye if I let them use it for nerf wars. All around pretty good otherwise. Need to try 50cal paint balls and water gel beads.

FAVORITE BLOWGUN I OWN
I’ve been using blowguns since I was just a kid and have gone through several. This is by far my favorite one! I have two now. Best quality at the best price! Easy to assemble easy to use and fantastic for all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Absolutely will buy again for friends and for my kids as they get a little older. There is not another blowgun on the market that I would recommend over this one.

If it seems cheap it's because it is.
The instructions were not legible and the dart holders are not good at all. They give you some red stun dart ends but nowhere to store them on the dart holders

Quality Blowgun for a First time owner!
One of my good friends recommended this brand to me, and I decided to try it out! The darts were easy to assemble and the quality of the product far surpassed my expectations based on the price. I can’t wait to use my blowgun!

Great Fun But Be CAREFUL
Before I get into the full review I want to make a few statements about the blowgun. First and foremost, this is not a toy. Let me repeat that, THIS IS NOT A TOY! Essentially, this blowgun is a low grade weapon. If not handled responsibly serious harm can befall the user or innocent bystanders. There is a warning label on the blowgun (see pictures). Here are some things to consider. The darts load at the top of the blowgun. I would not place the BG on your thigh to load in the darts. If you miss you could stab your leg, or worse, your privates, which is why I bought a pincushion for my darts. It looks weird, but hey, safety first, and it works. You could use a table, which would be safer than using your thigh. Absolutely, for the love of God, do not walk around with the darts either points up or down. Points up if you trip and fall your eyes and carotid artery are at risk. Points down, again, thighs, or worse, your nethers, could be impaled. Like I said, safety first. Now, the blowgun review. My wife and I were fleeing Hurricane Ida and at one point we were in Mississippi staying with a friend. Her brother, an incredible visual artist (don’t change your hat size Marcus), invited us to his studio. And there he broke out his blowgun, much like this one. I was stunned! I had no idea that blowguns were being made commercially. I took the first shot and was blown away. I was like a kid again, experiencing something totally new and different! It took a hurricane to bring me to the blowgun. On the spot our host offered me his BG and I respectfully declined. I wanted my own rig. When I got this BG I was over the moon. Considering how short it is it’s almost impossible to aim, and the range isn’t great (my best was at least 30 feet). With every shot it was a roll of the dice but God is it fun! I may get a sight for it but for now I like the randomness of my shots. I would suggest using cardboard boxes as targets, or get a dart board. If the darts get stuck in a wooden wall good luck getting them out. It’s a great way to pass the time and since I’m retired… My kit came with a number of sharp long darts and small blunt darts (for cans or bottles). If you use this blowgun responsibly you’ll have hours and hours of fun.

Missing pieces
Listing makes it seem like you will get a variety of darts but only white darts and blunt button head darts were in the package. This company seems pretty sub par. Won’t buy from them again.
