Re Plus Fashionable Travel/Styling Hair Tools Kit - Black

When I imagine paying $300+ for hair products I expect salon quality. This travel set delivers to a degree. I love the bag, it's lightweight and store's everything nicely in the mesh pouches, and small enough to fit in any travel bag. The bonus glove is nice to keep your burns to a minimum.The straightener is my absolute favorite of the three products. It's better quality than any other straightener I've very had. Although, it only has one heat setting, it gets hot quick. It doesn't rip out my hair every time I run it down my hair. Most others I've had does that. I HATE losing tons of hair, just trying to get straight hair. Very nice straightener in my opinion.Moving on the the curling iron. It's a standard iron that also only has one heat setting, but again, it gets hot quick. I love the extra long tip at the top of the iron, so you don't burn your fingers. Leaves nice looking curls.Now to the mini hair blow dryer, I'm not impressed at all. It's a basic hotel blow dryer. Doesn't put off much air and gets way too hot too quick. I ran it for 30 seconds and could barely touch it it was so hot. I have thick hair and it would take me way too long to get my hair dry with this. You might as well just leave it at home, use the hotel one, and save the space. I was expecting to get a regular blow dryer for the price point. I know travel size is usually smaller, but I think with the size of the mesh pockets they could've got a bigger blow dryer in there. All other products in the kit are standard size and work and fit nicely.For the price, I was expecting a spectacular product and was satisfied with most. I gave 4 star because the bag, straightener, and curling iron were up to salon quality in my opinion. The set comes with a blow dryer that is collapsible for better storage, a diffuser for the blow dryer, a straightener, a glove to protect your hand from burns, and a curling iron. All of the tools in this kit are way better than all the tools I've purchased in the past in drug stores or super markets.I love how convenient this product is. Everything fits inside a cute zippered bag that has mesh pockets. It also comes with instructions and there's even a little extra room in there. I put a bottle of hair spray in the bag as well and a mini travel brush.Like I said, the blow dryer is collapsible. The handle folds up against the barrel. It comes with a little diffuser to put on the end of it that helps to tame the frizz. The blow dryer has a high and low setting. I like using it on high. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to blow dry my hair, but surprisingly this little blow dryer did the trick in a little over 10 minutes. Don't let it's size fool you, it's pretty powerful.The straightener looks similar to a Chi straightener. It has an on and off switch and 2 chrome looking plates. I have wavy hair so usually I have to pass a straightener through my hair at least 4 or 5 times to get the waves out. But as you can see in my video, it only took 2 passes for my hair to become straight.The curling iron is a normal sized barrel. The curls come out a little tight at first but because I have long hair, gravity pulls them down naturally and loosens them a little. I thought the curling iron gave me beautiful curls. You can also see in my video what the curls look like. The curling iron also just has an on and off switch. It also has a little kick stand so you won't burn your counter tops.All of the tools come with 360 swivel cords so they don't get all twisted and tangled which I liked a lot. And the bag that everything fits in is super cute! I usually have to carry a large bag with me to house all my hair tools but this bag only takes up about half the space.I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
