It worked fine. You should note that it needs a usb power supply to operate, so plan on having a way to connect one. It comes with a cable with a usb type A connection on one end to hook to power. Other end of that cable attaches to the splitter and is some version of micro or mini usb connection. A handy green led tells you it has power - a nice touch. The description says all this - I just did not pay attention, so am repeating it for you haha.

Great HDMI Splitter
I use it to control two smart TVs from the same cable box. Unlike other splitters I have purchased, you don’t need to choose which output is live. Actually you can watch the 2 TVs at the same time with no signal loss. Great price!

Slitting my cable tv.
I split my Dish cable from my living room to another tv in the basement man cave. Works great. Good picture quality and sound is excellent. I used two of them to split 3 tvs. They did not degrade at all.
