Awesome project for kids!
My daughter had to do an Ancient Egypt project for school, we added this as component of her presentation. She truly enjoyed digging through the pyramid for treasure. The only thing o would’ve done differently was wear masks during the digging because the pyramid creates so much dust. Overall, it was a great interactive learning opportunity.

Excellent birthday present!
I bought this for a 5 year old's birthday and every child at the party was excited by it. It kept them entertained for days. They decided to learn more about Egypt. So much fun for everyone ages 5-8. Highly recommended.

Fun, but some incorrect information
I got this for my 6 year old to go all my with our Egyptian studies. He was very fascinated and enjoyed it, but it was very difficult for him to actually get the items out. I had to do most of the “excavating.” It look probably close to an hour honestly to get the items out after finding them. In the information paper, it talks about Cleopatra, but it shows the bust of Nefertiti, so that’s inaccurate. It also includes Anubis and Horus, but the photos shown aren’t actually included in the pyramid. This was fun, although slightly inaccurate, and difficult for a 6 year old to do completely independently.

entertaining
Great project for my 6 year old grandson. He had done the dinosaurs, gems, & this was a nice change. I found this to be an educational project as well.

Fun project
This was a fun project for the kids. It did take awhile to get to each one and it made a mess but it was worth it. Lots of happy screams and excitement finding each one.Sulfite sulfate sulfur allergy sufferers please note there is something in this powder that causes a reaction. Gloves and masks recommended.

Fun but not historically correct
My son had a lot of fun digging through this as part of his ancient history studies. He ended up getting a little bowl of water and had even more fun digging then residing the clay. However, the insert description of the artifacts is incorrect. For example, the statue of Queen Nefertiti is labeled as Cleopatra.
