I wanted a wall light in the hallway but didn’t want to get an electrician to hard wire so I drilled two holes fed the electrical wire behind the plasterboard and put a plug on the end as the socket was nearby. The magnet is VERY strong. Can now put wall lights up around the house on my own, not cheap but well worth the money.

Used to run speaker wire under my carpet. I lost traction a couple of times but was easy to reconnect. Would recommend!

A waste of money, it does not fit in 20mm round conduit and if you tried to use it above a ceiling to go from one down light to another the magnet isn’t strong enough and loses contact. Very disappointed!!!!!

First day of work magnet got attached to iron pipe behind the wall and while gently trying to pull it out.. Magnet separated from nylon rope leaving me without bigger magnet, I'm still using it with small magnet taped to the nylon but it really shouldn't happen so fast.

The magnets are very weak. Barely atract by themselves. Will NOT attract through drywall !The only reason I gave 1 star is because it is the lowest rating.The only good thing is that Amazon gave me a full refund.

It’s easy to use, works exceptionally well in every related task I put it through. Saved me time and eliminated frustration.One thing I noticed that could be improved, but you can remedy it yourself if the manufacturer doesn’t is the following:When working with projects with delicate exterior surface, the magnet could leave black markings. I remedy it by applying a small patch of masking tape on the magnet to eliminate/reduce the possibility of scratches or undesired markings.. you may come up with a better solution but this worked well. The product is solid and well made.. the excellent storage box stores well and keep it organized and ready for future difficult projects.

Should've gotten one of these a lot earlier. Would've made some of the cable runs a lot easier on my hands! The magnets are really strong and you can actually feel when they have made contact.

The strength of the magnent is definitely not as strong as advertised. I tried this on a wall with insulation, and just an empty wall and both times the magnent kept detaching. It says “can go over obstacles” so that is absolutely false. If you’re reading this, consider another option.
