Quite sturdy, perfect size
As a testament to how sturdy these are, they arrive bare in a cardboard box, which just a cardboard divider between them, yet they didn't break. At first I thought they did because there was something loose inside the box; it turned out it was just the lids, which are not attached, but rather just thrown in the box.These are the perfect size for liquids as a gallon can be a bit heavy. I'm using them for liquid laundry detergent as well as Mrs. Stewarts bluing laundry solution that I make up for whiter whites. I hate plastic so being able to use these for storage and handling is much better than plastic.

First Day Review
It arrived in just the manufacturer's box even though I'm pretty sure I requested an Amazon box, but thankfully that wasn't an issue.The two bottles arrived in perfect shape and I'm quite pleased with them. They are a good height and take up less space than the Vodka glass bottles I was using to hold water before these.Will update if there are any issues, but so far so good. 👍

Great glass jugs!
I got these to hold distilled water for my cpap. They are great besides one cap doesn't seem to screw on straight, but seems to still have a good seal!

Decent purchase
Got the pair of 1/2 gallon jugs on time. I have no regrets on the purchase. The glass was good quality for the price. My reason for withholding that last star is because the caps could be better. They don't make a complete seal and drip a bit but since I'm just using them in a way that they won't be tipped for it works for me but is food for thought for you. If you could find a way to make a better seal if you need it then these are totally worth it!

Great Jugs
I use these to do a second fermentation of kombucha where I have added the fruits and berries to flavor the kombucha. The jugs seal tight and hold in the natural carbonation. It is best to burp them or you will get an explosive reaction when you start removing the lids. Easy to clean.

I love these bottles because I use.them to make my own healthy teas.that I can drink from all week. It makes the drink more.clean and refreshing than putting in a plastic pitcher.

Easy to store in plastic grocery bags to keep clean in closet or pantry.
In the past I used gallon size glass bottles/jugs with handles similar to these, but they're very heavy filled with water and require twice as much space to store or in car when traveling. These 1/2 gallon bottles require less space and are lighter weight when filled. This size fits my current needs much better. The cost was very reasonable, they're clear glass and appear to be strong. I recommend them.
