I enjoy hosting events & wanted to offer peanuts with an easy way for guests to discard the shells. This works perfectly, looks great on the table, and everyone liked it. A must for entertaining.

This item is beautiful and there's a magnet that holds the bowl firmly in place to the base.

We love this pistachio pedestal. It looks good and is a great piece to add to the counter during a dinner party aperitif!

My friend had one of these and I loved it so I ordered one. It came promptly, looked just like the picture and is made of what seems to be a sturdy wood. I have it one my counter and now anyone who eats a pistachio has a place to dispose of the shell.

The media could not be loaded.  In contrast to other similar products this one is not equipped with a pair of strong magnets keeping the upper part in place making it rather shaky and uncomfortable to use.You have three DIY options:1) glue both parts permanently that may make cleaning the product more difficult,2) if you have some basic skills in tinkering, drill matching holes in each part and glue in two strong magnets,3) semi-permanent solution - drill a through hole in the top part, drill a pilot hole or insert an embedded nut in the bottom part, and use a screw (preferably brass or SS) to join both parts (use a plastic or rubber plug to cover the screw head and the hole in the upper part), unscrewing the screw and detaching one part from the other would allow cleaning them when needed.I give the product one star in the "Giftable" category due to the above reasons.As an additional, maybe unimportant, characteristic of the product I would mention rather long delivery time with no tracking information until it reaches the U.S. territory.

Love this. My husband was surprised to receive this. Would be better if each section was a solid piece of wood.

Bought 5 of them. 4 are wonderful, one was cracked. Too much of a hassle to return.

It looks much more expensive than it is. I wish it was a tiny bit bigger, but I still thought it was the perfect gift.
