the covering for the on/off and volume buttons are hard to press the case looks really cool also i advise you to also get a screen protector

I bought this as a replacement to another case that had a piece break off after one accidental drop. I couldn't afford another potential mishap, so I looked at others, read the reviews, and saw this one that definitely piqued my attention.For starters, the durability is excellent. My hands tend to drop things, including this tablet, a lot. So far, this case has been so durable that my tablet has yet to break!*knocks on wood*And the buttons work perfectly while the tablet is enclosed within it, so I'm never worried that a button may not work correctly while using this case. I mean, who wants a case in which it never reaches certain buttons making them unavailable!?Finally, the kickstand in the back works great, but there is one hiccup. It will only set up the tablet in a horizontal format. This is one component that could be improved to give it the ability to be set up vertically. That's my only hiccup with this tablet case.Otherwise, for the price I paid, it's well worth the investment to protect your Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablet (10th generation).
