Nokta Makro Simplex+ WHP Waterproof Detector with 11" and 9.5 x 5 Coils

From The Detector Experts, this package came with wireless headphones, a 9"x5" DD coil, & an 11" DD coil.After four years of pursuing this hobby, with entry level machines, it's time to do some real hunting. This should suit the bill.Luckily I've got a couple of property permissions. The Mass Department of Conservation and Recreation is more of a challenge than I expected.Overall, first impressions are that Nokta Makro are concerned about truth in advertising, and quality, and ingenuity. I hope to have positive vibes to relay, in 6 months or so... 😎💭~2 weeks: Each search mode retains previous settings. Allows for progressional acuity from quick search, or depth, or real slow picking, to & fro, just by customizing each mode to each be alittle more tuned-in/out. Kinda fun, & rather efficient, methinks. Real deep machine; nearly doubling what I'm used to: G2 & a GoFind 66 (Both are great beginner machines. And the GoFind is always with us. Accuracy for either is to around 6", although both can stretch to around 9"-10" for me.). Numbers on the SimplEx+ are intuitive & very functional, but mainly that's what I'm working on knowing, so far. That's where I am ~2 weeks in... Still garnering permissions, too. Letcha kno how that goes.~3 months: Solid machine. Numbers are intuitive; more on that later. Good iron functions, overall. Very deep with 11" coil; more on that later, too. Quite capable separation & discrimination with 9"x5" coil; that's what I'm using mostly (our areas are old & trashy). Lose alittle depth with smaller coil, of course. Haven't used at beach yet. More later... 😊💭 Just gotta say: It's a very decent machine. Punches well over it's weight. And, although I do crank field mode for confirmation mostly (broken record: More on that later...), ya do not need to run it wide open, like everyone on facetubewittertok does... When this detector came in, the inside of the box was kind of a mess, but I think that's because a coil was added.This machine is awesome. It is my second detector and I have become obsessed with detecting.The multiple modes and tones make this thing work great.The wireless headphones are a snap to activate and are spot on.The smaller coil works well and removes some weight from the larger one.Also a HUGE plus Is how compact the Simplex can be made for transport. Heck. Even a 4 year old child could use this with how small it can become.If this is your first metal detector, you are making a great choice. It will also probably be your last, because it is that good.

Nokta really put the metal detecting world in a frenzy when they released the simplex most value for your money and easy to use for beginners pretty much turn it on and go .

I have not yet got to use this metal detector but after reading all the positive reviews, I opted for this one. I metal detected years ago and am looking to get back into the hobby. I will update my review once I finally get to test it out ( and hopefully show some PICS of all the valuable treasures found!)

I bought one a year ago and for the price you can’t beat it. It works great on land and pretty good in the water. If you plan on using it a lot in the water check out some of the tips online it you may get frustrated. I have found good targets on land , wet sand, dry sand, up to my chest in fresh and salt water. All in all it’s a good detector. I just bought another for a friend who wants to try metal detecting for the first time. I chose this one because it’s easy to use.

A good detector for the price. Easy to use. As many features as many more expensive machines

Liked the ease of use. Recommend watching a couple of youtube demos on setup and use. This will make first use easy and understandable. there are a lot on the web.

I have used this detector in salt water beaches in and out of water for a month so far I have found 3 silver chains and 1 silver ring also abut 2 pounds in different coins. This eliminates alot of the unwanted junk from the cheap metal detectors. I been finding 10X more than the older type detectors. I recommend this if you are starting off on a higher level detector.
