It works.
This thing works as advertised. Seems solid enough.

Awkward to use
I still gave it five stars because it's exactly as it was described. My problem is that I'm not very tall and not strong enough to lift it up high enough to read the weight. That's my problem not the product's problem. When I'm at home, I just get on a regular scale, note the weight, hold the suitcase, note the weight, and do math. I think it's too heavy to take with me because I am always near the 50 lb weight limit! Again, my problem not a problem with the product!

Perfect little scale
I am not using this to weigh fish. I use it to weigh trailer tongue weight for small pull behind your motorcycle trailer which needs to be between 10% to 15% of the total empty trailer weight. Works perfect for me and better than a bath room scale.

Bought This For My RV Propane Tanks
I use a platform scale at home to weigh my RV tanks to see how much fuel is remaining. The tare weight is stamped on each tank, and the total weight - tare weight = the pounds of fuel in the tank. But when I have the RV out for a couple months during hunting season, the heater can go through a lot of fuel when it gets really cold, and it would be nice to be able to know when you're low so that you don't wake up one morning with it 42 degrees in the trailer. (It happened last year.)So I decided to look for a portable scale that I could easily carry with me. This model is small enough to live in the utility drawer in my RV, and then I'll have it available wherever I am. The screen lock feature on this is nice because a full 20 lb propane tank weighs about 37 lbs gross, so it's hard to hold up at eye level to read the weight. With this scale, you just lift the tank off the floor for a few seconds until the reading stabilizes, and then the display is retained so that you can disconnect it and read it.The price was definitely attractive on this, and it seems to correlate very closely to other scales that I have at home, at least close enough for my needs. It says that it has an audible signal when the display locks, but don't count too much on that - I think an ant crawling across your boot would make more noise than the "beep" this scale produces. But all in all, I count this in the win column, if it holds up.
