Returned because it was to big

This review is for the Shaggy costume. I added a pic of the rest of my Mystery Machine crew so you could compare purchasing items at a thrift store (everyone else) and purchasing the “official” costume. Me.The shirt was good. The pants were okay. I’m 5’11, wear a 33x30. This costume was for a Relay, and the pants fell down while running but were okay while not moving much. There are no pockets. I ended up wearing brown denim by the end of the day.The beard is garbage. It stayed on for exactly 10 seconds for one group photo, but didn’t even last multiple pictures.The wig is the star of this show. It was really hard to determine whether it resembled roadkill or a squirrel orgy. We settled on the best of both worlds... dead squirrel orgy. I posted a bathroom selfie so you could see that it came out of the package looking like Cruella DeVil, but morphed throughout the day to “what the f is that?!” I am convinced that it hasn’t even reached its final form, so I am looking forward to Halloween to see what it becomes next. All and all, we had a great time making fun of it, but that’s the primary function of this wig.If you are debating between this and going to grab a green shirt and brown pants from a thrift shop, you could go with this. If you are trying to get the beard and hair, move along or be prepared to have a good sense of humor about it.

So I'm a bigger guy 6'2" 215lbs and got the one size fits all. I was worried that it was not going to fit given my luck with the one size fits all idea in the past. Once received I quickly tried it on, the Green shirt fit....... but was a tad tight, I was going to wear a white shirt under it but am not sure if I'll be able to now. The pants fit with it's elastic waist but were long even for me and looked a bit sloppy (they also have no pockets). The star of the show in the kit was the wig, WOW! what a riot it was when I put it on. This thing looks more like a dead rabbit than the wig depicted in the add/on the bag. It fit fine and I'm sure if you tried to comb it a bit it would look better but as is....... this thing is crazy but fun as hell. As for the goatee, I did not try it on being it seems to be a one shot deal and I need to for a party. All in all, for the money it's ok, I'm sure you could find a cheap green shirt that's better quality and some old brown pants...... but you won't get the thrill of the wig and the laughs it will cause.

It was a good costume but it’s pretty pricey for a green t shirt, red pants with no pocket, and a wig.

The pants are supposed to be brownish color they are red color. The wig is beyond horrible. It’s not the right color. There’s no trying to adjust the style. You would do better putting hay on your head.

Hubby said the outfit itself was very thin so he had to wear clothes underneath the wig and goatee were not the best with any sticking and kept falling off

This costume is PERFECT for Shaggy. I bought it for my son who is 6'3" and it fit nicely. Even the pants were long enough! The color of the shirt is a perfect CARTOON green and people recognized the character immediately. Scooby Doo, where are you?

The shirt and pants were good and since it was cold out my husband was able to wear clothes underneath okay. The pants were long but since he's not the tallest guy (5'6) he was able to just tuck them a bit to make them work. The goatee was good, but you may want to reenforce with another form of sticky stuff or it may come loose. The wig was awful though. To make it look more realistic he had to flip upside and try to brush it a bit. Also, the elastic was REALLY tight and his head is not on the larger side, so we had to cut that to have him have circulation to his head :). If someone has hair that is similar to shaggy's I would suggest skipping the wig.

Great outfit, wig a bit of mess, could do with styling when put on, don't forget to buy some face glue for the beard or you'll end up using doublesided tape like me lol.

Before receiving the costume I saw the reviews on the wig as the picture for the costume does not show the person wearing it.It’s actually so funny it was the life of the party.Remember this is Shaggy so it does indeed look really shaggy lolIt’s stiff but you can play with it to make it look the way you see in the picture.The goatee was funny and stayed in place for part of the evening.It’s a fun costume I actually washed it after use and it is reusable and looks just like when I bought it.
