Nicely finished, well balanced and true which are all the characteristics I look for in a decent snooker cue so this Mark Selby cue is perfectly playable and a great entry level cue that doesn't disappoint especially once a decent tip is installed and broken in.Can't fault it at this price and I'm more than happy to recommend it.All the best

Arrived on time...nice finish on the cue....

Replaced my 15 year old cue with this. Good points:Comes with a soft case.Connection is excellent when screwed together almost like a one piece cue.Bad points:Don't buy because an all black cue looks good. You will be sanding the shaft down to the wood. Unavoidable.Biggest flaw is the cues weight. It's light,very light!!Overall, was worth the £36 I paid.

Nice cue solid feel decent value for money

After about five games of pool the tip come off then I glued it back on after a further few more games the copper part of the tip came off so I don’t rate this cue at all for what I paid for it

Cue is scratched

For the money, this is a perfectly fine entry level/club cue. Just for context, I play pool a few times a week in a local league and this wouldn't be something I'd normally use in my play. It's fine if you are starting out, it's fine as a break cue and I've got no problems at all with it (given its price point). For mid-level or serious players, it's not that great, but as it's aimed at the lower end, it's perfectly suitable.The grip on this is fine, the main part of the cue shaft is nice and smooth, and it's straight. The tip did need a little shaping, and that's why I've deducted one star. In shaping the tip, I managed to scratch the black laquer near the tip. I "fixed" that with a sharpie, but it goes to show that the laquer isn't particularly thick or durable, you may well find yourself either having a cue with loads of marks over it or sanding it back to wood. So, don't expect the finish to last. The other thing is the "Classic case" - that is almost useless. It's paper thin and doesn't offer great protection. These were the negatives.Overall though, a decent enough cue for beginners or for casual players, especially given the competitive price.
