Q: Are there any seams on this at the end cap or where the handle attaches where hair can catch in it?

The brush and the handle have a ridge where they connect. I have not had a problem with my hair catching.

Q: Which size is good for chin length hair?

I have chin length hair and it's perfect !!!

Q: Is the yellow part paint or metal ? I had bought the morracoan oil brush and the white part all flakes off.

The yellow part is ceramic and will not flake.
