Village GreenReady to Use Wood Stain - Water Based, Eco Friendly, Premium Quality (Limoncello, 250ml)

I used this to stain a large pine frame. I used fine sandpaper on the frame first and started applying the stain. It dried in less than an hour so I built the coats up in a single day until I had a good solid colour. Probably the easiest stain I've used. I will buy again if I need another stain.

Great coverage and easy clean up. Very pleased with the colour though a bit darker than expected. My only criticism would be it needs shaking like your life depends on it to get the (really excellent) pigments mixed in, a couple of beads in the bottle for mixing would be a welcome addition!

For my particular application it wasn’t very successful. I was just trying to touch in some wood scuffs in our caravan. Tried to build up the layers but it did not cover properly. It could be just my fault on this type of wood, or because it’s water based. It might work better over a larger area. Good range of colours though and reasonably priced.

All good. Water based stain works well. Check the size you are ordering. The photo shows a large bottle. There are a number of options. Don't expect the large bottle if you are paying the low price.

Exactly the colour I wanted for some gallows brackets I made for the garden but you don’t get a lot in the bottle.

60ml was just enough for me to stain this 90x20cm shelf, I applied 3 coats and then waxed with furniture polish. I am pleased with the end result.

Used to retain a campervan shelf after water damage .. After 5 coats the shelf looked pretty decent and the watermarks were masked. Easy to apply and dries quickly. Good purchase
