This is a great story.I loved Eli and Kye. Though Kye is a member of the Demons MC, he still has a heart of gold when it comes to the one woman he's ever lived - Eli.What will happen when he's forced to kidnap her and bring her to the Club to repay a debt owed by her father?Such a rollercoaster of a ride with this one! Loved the characters, the world building was incredible, and the story grabs and holds your attention from start to finish. Didn’t care for the 3rd person POV or the skipping around way of storytelling but the plot was good and the characters had depth.

This is an emotional rollercoaster ride of two young adults that find love until her drunken fathers actions tear them apart.Eliana met Lye the new boy in class he stuck up for her as she was being bullied by Thecool girls in class.They became best friends .he was a foster kid tired of being sent from one home to the next watching his foster brothers being adopted an he was never pi ked why was t he wanted or loved.Eli was so tired of parenting het parent her mom die she she was young an her dad craw!ed into a bottle.Eli studies hard an eanted to win a free ride to Harvard.She was making plans so Kye could come Sith hef.What she didn't know is Lye was getting involved with a mc.She showed up at her house with a gun shot around an lied to Eli about what it was.She hoped to make slot of money so they could have a good life.when Kye took Eli to the prom they were about to leave and go to a hotel when the head teacher came an told Eli her father was there he was making a s and he was drunk an yelling they had to run.Eli was embarrassed again by her father but She asked him who set him up?He said the Screaming Demons.Kye said go drive your dad an ill follow you home.When her dad said your one of them.Kye said I love your daughter take Eli and get out of here I'll follow behind.When they got to the road me a ing town gun shots went off and Eli an het dad crashed Kye was afraid he lost the love of his life.There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.Will this be the end of Kye an Eli?Will he have to stay away until he becomes president then he will call off the hit.He doesn't want to lose her again but he will do whatever it takes to keep Eli safe.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

Lye and ElianaVarooom!I don't read many MC books; but, I'm sure glad I started this series. The dynamics between the two main characters, Kye and Eli, is off the charts. Two misfits find each other in their senior year of high school. This first book is mostly background information and it will definitely get you hooked to wanting to read the rest of the series. Rough Start is more of a background setting book and ends in a cliffhanger. Kye and Eliana come from tough backgrounds but form a relationship in High School that each hopes will grow. However events caused by her father separate them. The future brings a reckoning when Kye has to bring her in to the MC for debts owed by her father. Wow, Eli has gone through so much to get to where she is. I loved the love Kye has and his selflessness, but I can see how she may not want to forgive him. I would have wanted him to make some contact to at least show he cared. It should be an interesting adventure.

Had I'd known this book ended in a cliffhanger then I wouldn't have gotten it.The h is a defense attorney and her father just died from lung cancer. It's been 3 years since she's graduated from Harvard.The H goes to the funeral to collect the debt her dad owes his  gang. If she can't pay then she'll pay with her life.The first chapter started in the present and the next chapters were about the past (which I found a little boring). They met the summer before senior year of high school. He was in foster care and her dad was an alcoholic. They started off as friends but quickly fell in love. The H fell in with a motorcycle club and in order to keep the h safe he told her and her dad to disappear.I finished this book but I'm not interested in continuing on with this story.

Passionate, intense and and intriguing.Eliana had run away from her life years ago and when she returns for her fathers funeral, she is snatched for the debt her father owed.These two really were great, she was always scared and initially of him but there was always attraction there.Well written and an intriguing story that had me involved from start to finish.Well done!!.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

They were best friends but went there separate ways now eliana having to pay the debt her father as rack up and it's with kye her old best friend his not boy she once know can she bring back the person she knew all those years ago or is he tame by the bad boy mc, there's cheating and action and ends with cliff hanger

A tale of young lovers, wrong turns and choices and betrayals. Kye chose a life of the MC, her father the bottle and theft. When their worlds collide it costs them everything.Years later the piper has called and it's time to pay.......

This book keeps you on edge, not sure if I like Kye yet will have to see what comes in the next books

I enjoyed this book. I don't typically read about high school aged kids but the back story was great. I read in a few short hours
