Works
They're pretty nice insoles. They have a harder section at the back with cushioning on top. Well over 200 miles of walking and they still look and smell brand-new, and are still comfortable.

Excellent support
Powerstep insoles are wonderful! I've used these for about 6 years now and am amazed at how they can provide almost immediate foot pain relief when replacing either old, worn insoles or poor insoles in newer shoes. I swear by them and highly recommend.

Big difference-maker in my hiking boots.
I have tendonitis in my ankle from not paying closer attention to the insole support in my shoes and boots. After 6 weeks in a walking boot, things were much better. I first bought a pair of the Powerstep heat-moldable insoles and they made a huge difference for arch support in my shoes. In my hiking boots, I found them a bit lacking in support when I was out for extended hikes carrying added weight on my 210-lb frame. So I ordered a pair of these Pinnacle Hikers, and they really do a great job. They are more rigid, and I can really feel the arch support when I'm out in the woods. They fit perfectly with no cutting required. The deep heel cup holds my foot in place. The moldable insoles are great in my shoes, but the Pinnacle Hikers add that extra strength and support I need in my boots. Highly recommended.

good support
I purchased this to get a good arch support in shoes that don't have it. As usual, when you go from no arches to high arches, it takes your foot some time to get used to it. That was the case here. But once that is done, it works great.

fantastic arch support
these are amazing arch support, i have no idea what the difference is from the other pinnacles as i cant tell what the "hiking" version does better. in truth when i compare to the regular pinnacles i have, they seem the same. but does really help my feet as i'm on them for 12 hours a day. i just wish they werent so damn expensive.

Very Comfortable!
I purchased these to put in my Merrell hiking boots. I have flat feet and plantar fasciitis. I've tried other kinds of inserts before and even though they helped some, my feet still hurt some after a long hike. I saw that these were made especially for hiking boots so I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! I put them in my boots and wore them for a few days doing my normal activities and work. I'm on my feet a lot so I figured that would allow me some time to break them in. They were very comfortable. Today I wore them on a long hike over some rough terrain. I experienced no foot pain at all during and afterwards! These are wonderful! I can't speak about durability yet, but so far so good! I'm going to try a pair in my walking shoes. We go hiking quite a bit, so if I can get 3 or 4 months out of these, I'll be happy. The arch is high as some others have posted, it but works well for my size 13 wide foot. At this price, they're worth a try! If anything changes, I'll update this review.

THE BEST
I am a nurse and on my feet for long 12+ hour shifts. These insoles were recommended to me by a podiatrist after my complaints that my feet hurt. I had instant relief of foot pain after wearing them; I have bought several pair over the years, and this particular pair is for my (Merrell) hiking boots. My boots feel as comfortable as my regular running/work shoes.I recommend the Powerstep brand, and the Pinnacle style for high arches; I expect the other styles will be as high quality as the Pinnacle, just depending on what your needs are.Highly recommended!

Sturdy and comfortable
These are very good insoles. They held up very well for long hikes with a heavy pack. Recommended.
