I've never owned a digital video camera before but I do know some things about still photography.The camera comes in a tightly packed box with an assortment of items. Everything that is found in the product description was included. As a odd-ball who likes to read manuals, my first thought was to find the 'quick start' type manual. Alas...none was provided. There are two manuals provided but as far as manuals go, they are not the best and I was forced to do some trial and error actions to see what happened. As a techie, I don't mind doing such things but for those who don't this camera may not be the best for you or try to find a family member who can help you get started.Also note: There's a small piece of plastic in the remote control battery compartment that is meant to stop the battery from discharging while unsold. You'll need to remove this bit of plastic to get the remote to work.The camera is easy to use once you get the hang of it. The quality is proving excellent both of the equipment and of the videos/pictures. It was super simple to also set up as a webcam.I tried the Roadcam App as listed in the manual. While the app on the Google Play store only has a rating of 2.7, I found the app to work just fine with the camera.I like the fact the item comes with two batteries as well as extra accessories such as the image stabilization holder and stereo microphone. Such things add extra value to this item overall and make the purchase price a good one in my opinion. Enjoy exploring this very functional and useful camera!

My mother needed a camera for her Master's program that requires many video recordings and after doing the research, I came across this camera and felt it checked all the boxes I was looking for. It has all of the features that a more expensive name brand camera would have and also includes many of the added components that we did not have to purchase separately such as an extra battery, remote, stabilizer and lens hood. My priorities were ease of use as far as recording and transferring videos, video and audio quality, and being compact and well built. She's far from tech savvy but she's been able set this camera up on her own without any trouble and has successfully recorded many videos with high quality visuals and audio. She's also been able to transfer the videos effortlessly to her computer to upload them for school. The remote that comes with it has been a game changer for her and is probably one of her favorite features since it makes it easier for her to use. This has been a great quality beginner camera setup and for the price, terrific value.

I recieved the item on time. Outer box was fine, but contents box was crushed. I was eager to use camera with its high reviews. I followed directions, assrmbked without problems, and charged everything as requested. Easy to operate, instructions were somewhat vague, but with practice, all ok, BUT, LOW TO NON EXISTENT SOUND! Shame that such a great picture and video, camera has no sound. The sounds of manipulating the camera come in super loud, but the recording subject at hand, is so disappointing! The video recording itself was so crisp and clear? What a shame it wasnt worth the hype.

The media could not be loaded.  Great camera for the price love that it comes with 2 batteries and you can attach it to a stand which we did for my cousins wedding. Great picture comes also with an app so u can have the video's on your phone or tablet without using the SD card to upload you can also stream which was great for the ppl that could not show up. The only negative was the instructions could be better but, for the most part everything is super easy to figure out and could come with a carry case that fits everything not just the camera. The last picture is the only piece I still have no idea what it goes too. The remote does have a plastic piece you need to remove that keeps the battery from draining b4 it's shipped so make sure to remove when your ready to use. Definitely will be using this year round for family parties and vacations. I did upload a short video that is using a low quality memory card I didn't have any room left on my high speed high quality SD card but, you can see it's still great even with that type of card.

The are 2 issues with the camera.Issue 1 is that the HDMI out function does not work as it should. It plays video for a couple seconds then stops for no reason. I would prefer to view the video on my TV instead of my PC.So to view the video you have to remove the card and place it in a PC but hold on because here comes issue 2.Issue 2 is that the file system used in very clunky. It will only import into my default folder for pictures. When you try to put in in new folder you get an error. It is also very picky about what SD cards it will record on.Support says that the fact that the video will play on a PC proves there is no problem with the camera. I disagree. I tried it on both my TVs and the issue remained with both.To end on a positive the camera does take decent video.

I have never bought/owned a camcorder. I recently watched old homemade movies, and I loved them. So I thought I should get one to leave some recordings behind.The packaging and delivery was very nice. Every piece of equipment came individually wrapped, and no damage at all.The size of the camera fits perfectly in my hand, very comfortable, and doesn't weigh much.Very easy to put together and figure out, only took a few minutes to be able to get it up and working.Good quality picture, as well as audio (thanks to the accessories included)Also came with an extra battery, which is great for longer use.Overall great quality, and cannot beat the price point.

Batteries are less than useless the camera itself records fairly well batteries don't hold charge even when not connected to the camera.
