Replacement for my old recycling bins. They fit the opening, so they are great.

We have an under-the-counter trash bin drawer, courtesy of the former owners of our home who had the kitchen renovated. The top edges of the bins that came with the house had started to split and we decided we needed new bins, but the new bins needed to be a very specific size. Width and depth needed to be a match for the cutout in the trash bin drawer, and the height needed to be just right, too.These were not just perfect, they were good price, and they come with what feels like a very sturdy lip around the edge, good for holding onto when I lift the bins out, which I do from time to time when cleaning our cats' litter boxes. The poop goes into the bag, and the bin holds the bag up and stops the poop from spilling out onto the floor. You didn't need to know that, but that is why I like the large, sturdy lips these bins have.They seem to be good quality bins, and they're perfect for what we needed.

The original Rubbermaid bins we had were 20+ years old from the original buyer. We've been using them for 12 years and the edges have cracked so that they are annoying to try to grab to remove from our under cabinet bins when they are full. Figured they've lasted this long that we would find them on Amazon and here they are: Rubbermaid 2806TP-WHT 36QT Open Wastebasket, White (Pack of 2)! Fit perfectly. Thought this was a very reasonable price for a 2 pack!

I needed two to fit perfectly inside my kitchen cabinet drawer which already has a cut-out rack. Wrong dimension were given in the product details, so I thought I'd give post them here hoping to help save time and trouble for everyone including the seller who I'm sure have to keep processing returns. I was warned by Amazon that this is a frequently returned product which I'm sure all due to the dimension/fit issue. Otherwise, seems well constructed.Height: Lip to bottom 18"Length: 14.5" at the lip tapering to11.5" at the bottomWidth: 10.75" at the lip tapering to 8.5" at the bottomThe taper is almost linear. At the neck where the can is supposed to fit at the shelf/rack cut-out, the dimension is about 13" x 9.5".Hope this helps someone.
