In the Breeze 4890 Rainbow Whirl Spin Quartet

Material wasn't what I expected. Thought it would be heavier duty.

I was filtered for METAL wind spinners and this one popped in, because I was filtered on METAL I ASSUMED this was metal and did not read the fine print. I don't want to return in as far as the product if that is the material type you are expecting then you wont be dissapointed. The color and size is great. Nothing again the item it self, just mad that my filter was set and I did not really read the fine print. NOTE TO SELF :-)

I, too, was looking for metal. The flimsy mylar just kind of hangs there, and flops about in the wind, no lovely spinning (perhaps with a delicate breeze it would do better). Another reviewer had a good idea--put this in a nursery as a mobile. Better suited indoors in children's room. It is not for me, though.

The description is accurate but I had hoped for something more sturdy as I purchased it for outside use.There is a soft scuffling sound when a breeze hits it that could be a little annoying.

Have several Mylar wind spinners and so far I am happy with them. Constantly in motion no matter how light the wind is blowing. Have had them for about a week and I am hoping they are sturdy. Time will tell.

I was looking forward to this purchase, not only to hopefully deter some of the woodpeckers but also to add some pretty, colorful, spinning beauty to my yard. But unfortunately, I've been rather disappointed with this purchase. The item, which is made of a very flimsy Mylar, rarely ever spins or holds a nice spiral-looking shape. Much of the time, it just looks like a tangled mess of Mylar -- especially when the wind blows. My particular item would only rotate in one direction, so I added an additional spinner hook to try & enhance the spinning ability, though with little improvement. In fairness, there are times when the item does seem to hang correctly and will spin slightly, but it often tends to tangle in a breeze rather than spin as shown. Perhaps mine is defective, who knows. But considering the material & functionality of the item, I do think it is overpriced.

I read in another review that these spinners were useful as a deterrent for birds. It truly is! 🎉Robins have been determined to nest on our front porch for years. We’ve purchased rubber snakes, plastic owls and other things to encourage these persistent birds to nest in trees😂 the way birds should. After hanging a spinner on our front porch we have not needed to clean up after any Robins. And, it is more attractive than other gadgets we’ve tried!

I really liked this wind spinner when I saw it online and ordered it. When I received it I was very disappointed to see that it's made out paper or something similar, for some reason I thought it was made out of some kind of light metal, like some other wind spinners. Yes, it did look pretty, but also very flimsy! It lasted almost 1 month as this morning the "paper", or whatever material, started tearing off. Worthless! Look at something else not made out of this material.I contacted the seller and they refunded me, so I appreciate that.

I hate these. The only reason I'm not giving them a 1 is that maybe someone else might like them. They make too much noise and they flash the sunlight back into your eyes so watch where you hang them. I found them expensive for the quality of the product. I got a way better product at the dollar store for a lot less. I'll be sending these to the thrift store in case someone else likes them--not for me.

Total crap, looks like something from the dollar store for 10 times the price.Such a disappointment on Mother’s Day.

This is quite a long wind spinner and rather than spinning in a pretty spiral it tends to blow about like a kite. However it does work great at scaring the pigeons off of my balcony,

The colors are excellent. The design is attractive. I did find it was too lightweight. A stronger than slight breeze just blows the whole thing upwind instead of spinning. I still like it and will continue to use it but it is a fair product to purchase.

I love watching it in the wind as its right in front of my window. we had to do that because bird kept on flying into our window and it's stopped now.
