Honey Well Genuine 8oz R1234YF Refrigerant (3 Freon Cans) & HD Brass Can Tap with Gauge

I now have cold ac again cheaper than purchasing in a store

It's difficult to find 1234yf in my area. Had to turn to Amazon instead. I didn't use the hose because I got my own set up. Just needed the freon and at a reasonable price.

I changed my mind about the product.It does work, but it needs to be explained more clearly. The valve that connects to the car is not a screw-on type; you just need to pull it, and it will fit perfectly. On the other end, you need to attach the can by twisting it counterclockwise.Anyway, a demonstration video would be very helpful.But the product works.

Received the product fast. The 3 cans of the R1234yf were full 8oz cans I weighed on a refrigerant scale. Easy perfect fit hookup remember left hand threaded on cans. Only had to use one can and the temp dropped back down to 45.7 degrees and a pressure reading at 35psi . Will monitor system to see if charge holds well on the Crosstrek.

I see that a few users complain about threading the cans onto the charging hose. These are threaded COUNTERCLOCKWISE. The charging instructions on the (very expensive) cans of refrigerant are correct but the instructions on the gauge packet are NOT. There is states that the refrigerant can must be inverted to charge. That's wrong: Charging must be in the gaseous state. Inverting the can will result in injecting liquid refrigerant into the system possibly destroying the car's compressor. As to value, I see 10 lb. canisters of this refrigerant offered for as little as $10. The markup for small cans seems excessive to me and a lot to pay for convenience.
