Braun30B Series 3 Replacement Foil & Cutter Set for 7000/4000 Series

I've had my Braun 7505 shaver for at least 25 years. I got it for emergencies, mainly when my wife complained that I looked scruffy and I didn't feel like going through my normal wet shaving routine.I resurrected the old shaver a few months ago. I hadn't used it for years and had to buy a new charger for it.Living in the country (Sierra foothills) and working from home, I shave every few days. I'll use the Braun if we are going out to dinner and I want She Who Must Be Obeyed to be happy. It works okay, but it reminds me of why I prefer wet shaving. I normally use an old-fashioned double-edged safety razor, but it takes some time and attention.I bought the new foil and blade to see if it would make a difference. It was amazing. It took just a few seconds to swap out the blades and foil. It's like a new razor now--and the results are surprisingly close to those I get with my beloved Merkur razor, badger brush and lather, and Feather blades.I'll never give up wet shaving, but this is a damn good substitute.

For people who have older Braun electric shavers (and mine is very old--at least 15 years old) it's difficult to find the replacement foil and cutter sets. I bought one about one year ago, but could not find any record of the seller in my list. So I purchased this set from a new seller. The foil and cutter fit well, and work with my old shaver. My only complaint is that nothing else came with the foil and cutter; specifically, the previous seller included the tiny brush that you use to pre-clean the foil and cutter before you put it into the electric cleaning device. The price was higher than the other seller's price. Since I could find no other seller for this needed item, I would buy from them again, but would like to see them at least include this small, impossible-to-find brush for their relatively high price.

I bought a Braun 7505 electric shaver over 20+ years ago. When the battery died 10 years ago I continued to use it for another 10 years. Then the foil finally broke so I decided to see if a replacement is still available. And, lo and behold I found this replacement and ordered it. It fits perfectly. I then bought the replacement battery and now my 20+ year old electric shaver has been transformed to a like-new shaver, which I use everyday! The best investment I ever made....

I've had my current Braun electric razor for nearly 20 years now. In that time, I've had to replace the blade and foil many times, and each time I'm glad I did -- the quality of the shave is really noticeably better when the blade and foil are new. It always feels like way too much money, but I think you're best off going with the Braun original foil and blade replacement rather than saving a few bucks on a third party one. I'll keep replacing these once a year or so until this razor finally dies -- but that's not looking to be any time soon.

I put off replacing my original series 7 cutter due to some of the negative reviews with the new style replacement cutter. But with the old blades now worn and taking too long to shave with, I decided to try the newer blade, and to my surprise, it cut very well. It was as close as my original blades (when new) and shave time is now much quicker. They seem to work best if your face is not damp/moist. I haven't tried shaving with several days growth, but for daily use, it has done quite well. Overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Amazon's delivery time was also superior.

I was glad to find this for my favorite out-of-date shaver, but the foil develops cracks and flaws more quickly than OEM foils used to.
