Great book
My therapist suggested getting this book. It's very well written, it's based on science and it's not like "just think positive and you'll live a happy life always" it talks about being realistic about positivity and that there will be bad days but it's how you perceive and handle it. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who suggests with negative, intrusive thoughts and had a negative internal dialogue. It also has a lot of coping skills and test to see where your mind frame is.

Changing your mindset isn't easy but it's easier with this book!
I know it's not an easy road ahead and I didn't think it would be. This is why I'm so glad I have my workbook to help me make positive changes in my life at my own pace. After doing a few of the assessments I was already aware thanks to the background information in the book that this journey might be difficult. That's why I love that I can put the book down if needed. For instance, when the prompt brings out emotions I don't want to face or I'm not ready to face a certain realization. My small group of folks that know I'm on this journey have already seen a difference. It's amazing because I too feel different. I can't wait to take my next assessment.

You can modify the way you feel, think and relate to your world - this book is exceptional!
LIke the title reads - that Inner Critic was OUT OF CONTROL in my head. Even into the first chapter I felt better about how I was going to change my perceptions of the world, myself and what I want for my future. I am thrilled to have found this book and the author. I believe in helping myself with books and taking charge of my life - this is the perfect content for me!

Life Changing Book
I've always struggled with not being not being able to feel happy, which I thought it was from depression. However, I never knew how negative myself thoughts were before reading this book. If your looking to overcome negative thoughts and become a better version of you I highly recommend. It's a very negative world use this book to see the brighter side.

Four and a half
The Positive Thinking Workbook is a very well written book that uses different exercises that are meant to help silence that inner critic and to help you think in a more positive way.This workbook has a lot of useful information in it and a lot of “hands on” type of exercises that help you think through things that might be holding you back or making your inner critic do the thinking for you. The book helps you to find out what it means to think positively and how to use positive thinking going forward. It also shows you how it can help future changes come reach their fulfillment.This book also takes the time to show how to use mindfulness along with breathwork along with meditation, journaling, and other types of very practical types of strategies and practices that you can use to help you improve your overall mindset.One thing that is interesting and harder than it sounds like it should be, especially if you are an overthinker and dwell far too much on things, is the prompts this book gives you. It gives you prompts that are questions given to help you better understand yourself and encourage you to examine how you approach life and how you react to it. These are hard! You really see how you do things and they can take some time to really look at and figure out why you do what you do.This is a great book for those that just need to work out that inner critic, need to work on positive thinking, or need a little boost. Maybe you just want to destress and learn a little about yourself along the way.This is a great book and I do recommend giving it a shot if you are interested in the sound of it.

Eye opening
I love how relatable I was to the writer. The intro grabbed my attention right away. When I start feeling negative and or anxiety I rush to this book and it calms me immediately. It’s very soothing and helpful for positivity

PositiveThis Book Is Great
Since buying this book I have been using the insightful questions to challenge myself to think on a more positive, broad, and happy level. This book has already done wonders in challenging the way I think about myself in relation to the world and has done such a great job to keep those positive thinking behaviors reinforced. Great book! Thankful I found it!

A little something to get you thinking.
I bought this for myself and 2 of my friends. I like doing one topic at a time and reflecting on how I may improve my reactions to different scenarios. It has simple and quick exercises and has proven to be beneficial to look back on prior exercises to keep myself on track to continuing to be a better me.
