K98 Mauser Sight Hood

Fit perfectly, needs needle nose pliers to set into the mount.

Don't know if this is original surplus or new reproduction. It fit and looks good. Expanding snap ring pliers helps the installation.

Works as designed

Well I purchased this before realizing my Mauser didn't have a groove for the sight (manufactured in 1940) but it seems like a quality part. I'll just use it for my next one.

Fits well, hard to get on, but with a little muscle, you can get it on. It is black, so it needs some scuffing in order to match a blued barrel
