It's hard to mess one of these up
This reverb tank is exactly what I expected when I ordered it. The craftsmanship is solid. It works well. I used it as a detect replacement for a faulty one in my burgers 333xl.

Great quality, great sound, will be buying again!
Ordered this after countless research on which size/model tank my Peavey Classic 50 was supposed to have (previous owner removed), luckily there's more or less a standard couple sizes of reverb tanks - this long one fitting most Peaveys, Fenders, and select Marshalls.Anyways, after installing I wired it up (wires not included so sacrifice a stereo RCA red & white cable at your desired length) and I absolutely love every knob position in my amp! My review includes the wiring diagram for most Peaveys - you'll need that if you don't have the original as reference.I'll be ordering a few more to put in my amps that have digital reverb to have the spring tank switchable it's that nice.

MOD 4EB2C1B is Good to Go in a Peavey Classic 30
I installed a MOD 4EB2C1B as replacement for the failed Accutronics tank in a mid-90's Peavey Classic 30 I recently acquired in a trade. The JJ ECC83S HG (12AX7 Short plate, high gain) tubes in the preamp were almost certainly not original, and the high preamp gain caused the reverb to oscillate when turned past 6.I solved the problem by substituting an "old stock" Mullard 12AX7 in the V1 socket (closest to the input jack). In the future, I may try a 5751 in that socket. For now, I can crank the reverb all the way to cowabunga with no oscillation and way more than enough power for the outdoor gig I played last night. The new reverb tank goes smoothly from dry to very wet, and the construction looks as sturdy as the Accutronics unit it replaces.
