Big hit with my young twins, and me!
We love this game! As home educators, any way to learn through play is a big hit. My boys are starting to learn words, so sight word bingo went straight in my Amazon basket when I came across it. It was a big hit with the boys, who enjoyed shouting out bingo whenever they found a word that was on their boards, and it was great for getting them to work out the words that matched. We would definitely recommend this game to add to your family games night with little ones learning to read words.

Not popular
This has a limited fun element to the game. The spinner is hard to use and equally hard to read the words. They are also too small. It is a dull game and has been relegated to the back of the cupboard. For teaching the phase 2/3 words you would be better to use the word splat,, which my granddaughter loves. So many games and ways of using the game.

Great for those learning phonics!
We bought this to help with home schooling through COVID-19, it’s a great game, but not many cards. My son is 4 he found it easy, but he is very good with his phonics, this would be a great game for those who are learning their phonics and just starting reading, my daughter who is older knew all of the words, but liked spinning the wheel and playing the game with her brother.

Excellent Game
Bought as a Christmas present for my five year old daughter. She got so excited and informed me that they have this same game in school (I wasn't aware before ordering). She began playing straight away with her Mum and it held her attention and she had several games before moving to other presents she got that day. Very easy to play for little ones, educational and very clear. A simple game and a fun game. Really happy with this.

Could be better
I'm normally a fan of Learning Resources games however, in my opinion, this one is not one of their best. I introduced it to my child at 5 years of age and to be honest I missed the 'useful' window as she is already very familiar with all the sight words in the game so there wasn't any educational value to the game for her. It could be improved by having a second set of boards with more difficult words. Also it is not like bingo in that once a word is used it won't be called again, as a spinner is used to determine the word to be called, it keeps landing on the same words making for a long and frustrating game!
