Decent size.. you can sleep on it..

Most stud type earrings are small and can be put in and then forgotten about or worn to sleep. These are not your typical studs (see picture for scale). The sea-shell design is pretty and more visible due to its size. I like the larger size, but the balance does seem off on these if you want to wear them “pearl” to back. I don’t think they are that heavy, but they do pull down in the front if you try to wear them that way. This makes them less comfortable and feel heavier. I still think they look nice and would wear them pearl to back, just not all day. They feel a lot more comfortable if worn the other way - pearl in front. Either way, I probably wouldn’t sleep in them, they are a little bulky. They are pretty, but I view them as“special occasion” earrings and not for daily wear.

The earrings are super cute! Was thinking about getting the Dior ones but wanted to order these to decide if I liked the style before I invested. However, as soon as I went to take the back off to put them in the pearl detached from the backing. Its really unfortunate and I wanted to simply exchange them or get them replaced with a non defective pair except I see no option to contact the seller. I took a star off for this reason, hopefully I can be contacted to resolve this issue because other than that they are very cute :(
