Finally, What You Should Expect!
DISCLAIMER:Before you read the full review, if you're looking for an earphone with bass like Beats or Skullcandy, then these are NOT for you. I want to address that I see a few reviewers give these a negative review saying "these have no bass". I understand that ears are subjective and Iistening is completely opinion-based, but I will say this: I am a former basshead, so I know what big bass is. These have a sophisticated bass that doesn't cover the mid-range and treble. The bass on these are excellent if you like an extended, quality sub-bass. These are not made for bass-heads, so don't get these assuming that these will be very bass-heavy and leave a negative review when they don't even advertise extreme bass. If you're looking for something with a ton of bass, the Sony MDR XB90EX are awesome for that! I still pull them out every once in a while for an all out jam session.ACTUAL REVIEW:After the tragic failure with the RHA T10i and the disappointment of the VModa ZN, I didn't think I would find an IEM in between $100-$200 that would be worth owning. The RHA T10i was initially great. The sound was fun and bassy and the build seemed like it would awesome. Overtime, they couldn't hold up. Both ear hooks snapped within 9 months of owning them and the left speaker completely cut out 8 months after the hooks broke. I tried my friend's VModa ZN which was slightly better than the T10i. The build quality seemed much better, but I didn't like the cables and the sound was not as detailed as I want it to be. I haven't had much luck with quality portable earphones in this price range. I had always heard of Beyerdynamic and their products. I thought about getting the IDX 160iE, but I saw a couple of negative reviews regarding build quality which steered me away. Recently, the IDX 200iE came out and I had a feeling that this could be the answer to all my problems. I hesitated so much with getting this. I probably clicked on "add to cart" and then "save for later" like 20 separate times. The box is slightly above average size. It's very similar to the RHA packaging. With the 200iE, it comes with 10 eartips, an extra cable that connects at the Y-split, shirt clip, and a case. These don't look like anything special. They're the classic barrel shape earphones, but they feel awesome in the hand. I’m not a big fan of the cable, but the strain reliefs feel reassuring. I love that these have a spare cable, but I hate the placement of it. I think it should be detachable from the housing, but that’s my opinion. It also comes with a mic and play/pause function. The mic isn't as nice as the one that comes on the T10i or ZN, but I've tried it and it works fine. That's all I care about at this point. In the ear, the comfort is about average. It doesn't hurt me while they're in my ear, but I do know that they're there. Isolation is slightly above average too, especially with the comply tips.I'll be honest, I was pretty nervous about hearing these. After pressing play, it was like all seemed right with the world again. Everything was where they were supposed to be. The bass is enough to keep me interested. The midrange is very close to neutral. The treble is engaging and it keeps me interested. The vocals are pushed back slightly and the soundstage isn't as grand as I personally like, but I'm also used to soundstage in my EX1000, so I can't expect that kind of sound to be in this. Although the sound of this gets pretty addictive. It is also a very versatile sound signature. This is an earphone where you can pretty much listen to anything you want and it should sound good. I have listened to nearly every genre I like through these and I have yet to find anything that was inadequate.Ladies and gentlemen, my search is over. I have found a portable earphone in the $100-200 price range that has everything I want. Durability; it holds up while moving around in my pocket (unlike my T10i). Comfort; with the comply tips, these don't disappoint in that area. Isolation, again, comply tips help with that too. Convenience; being able to throw these in my backpack knowing these won't break while there in there gives me some reassurance and it. Sound quality; which is my favorite sound over the ZN and T10i. These arent perfect though since I’m not a fan of the cable and the odd placement of the detachable cable. With these two nit-picky flaws, these are still my go-tos when I leave the house. I can still have good sound without bringing something too expensive with me.

Update: Horrible Durability
Very High Quality IEMs,the lack active noise canceling which can be found in Bose QC 25's but, those have a non-replaceable battery attached to the cable, so I stuck with these. Included are also many fittings for your ears, foam, plastic, rubber, perfect for when you wear out old ones or to get the perfect fit, these sound almost as good as my BeyerDynamic DT 990's and my V-Moda M100's, but they are over the ears, so they don't win in portability. In addition, these IEMs come with two "extension cables" but if you don't use them, then the cable is too short, unless your audio device is attached to your mouth, there is no way you cannot get around having to use their extension cables. The ones with the white rings are for iOS devices (iPad, iPhone, MacBook) and allow siri voice command activation as well as your standard playback controls, pause, play, rewind track, skip to next track, volume up and down. The "extension" cable with the black rings are for every other device, (Android phones, non-apple laptops, your computer, TV). All in all I give them 4/5, because they are a little on the pricey side, and because of the lack of noise canceling, even passive canceling would've made me give it 4.5 stars. Oh well, these have been used daily by me and I really like them, they are my best set of IEMs that I own currently and don't see them giving out any time soon because the bullet shaped earbuds have high durability.

Great while they lasted, but Beyerdynamic CS pulls through
I love these headphones and it kills me to rate this anything lower than 5 stars. Great overall sound with serious depth. Amazing noise cancellation. I've had these headphones for just under a year and, unfortunately, they have started to go. I've taken very good care of the headphones themselves. The volume adjuster seems to have gotten messed up somehow and is no longer functional. I have to hold down the volume adjuster to get full sound. I'm hoping to contact Beyerdynamic to see if they could replace. Will report back if successful.Edit (11/5/18):Spoke contacted Beyerdynamic CS directly to see if there was any assistance I could get on the above problem. They ended up sending a brand new pair of headphones within the next week. Supreme quality sound, great noise cancellation. Probably one of the best (if not the best) in-ear headphones at this price range. Great CS boosts this rating up to 4/5 stars.

Crystal Clear but No Bass
So I read many top headphones list, etc and these were among the best earbuds. Anyway, these are not for me. They are crystal clear, but I listen to a lot of hip hop and there is no bass in these. I listen to my music loud and like to feel it. I did a quick test between these and my apple earbuds listening to "24K magic" and "Can't Feel My Face" on Spotify with EQ turned. In my opinion the bass was better on apple buds (mid-tones a little muddy of course). I'm not an apple fan girl though. A little more info about what I like (for context): I have a pair of Beats Studio and a pair of Bose QC20 (I think) Beats sound ok - good bass, Bose sounds great - ok bass and it has amazing noise cancellation. Between these 2 I choose the Bose every time. Back to Beyerdynamic, for the price, I might as well spend a little extra and get Bose earbuds. Last tid-bit, I listen to music via my computer and iphone. I had to turn volume up all the way to get it to a level I liked. Overall, bass is important to me and most of the music I listen to, thus, I will be returning immediately (have had them for 2 days). If it's not important to you (Classical music) these may be perfect for you. Just not me.

Not quite the magic I hoped for, but very good otherwise.
Bought these after being in love with the cheaper Byron model. I enjoy the form factor, simple build and wonderful sound. These are a little... I can't say disappointing but they don't quite hit the mark.Build of the general unit is good as expected, a simple look in a larger body, but I'm unsure what the wire thing is about. (Rather than one 4ft cable it splits nearer the head so you get a shorter or longer option. Good in theory but the short option barely allows enough length to hold my phone away from my face at the usual distance when I'm using it.Sounds is very clear, highly detailed and well balanced. But that was a given. One difference to the Byron's, and to be honest, a downside, is the splashy nature of the higher frequencies. S sounds are not sharp and piercing, but cymbals and "TS" sounds have a less precise tone than I'd like, and they fall off with a very short kind of splashing effect. Similar to BeoPlay H3s, but not QUITE as obvious. It's me being nitpicky, but after being mad about the cheaper model, it's a shame I don't quite share the same admiration for this upper model.

The basic cable is a perfect length for placing an mp3 player in a shirt ...
These earbuds are exceptionally clear and vibrant through the entire range of sound. The headset is also conveniently separated into a relatively short cable with two included extensions (one for apple devices and the other for android devices). The basic cable is a perfect length for placing an mp3 player in a shirt breast pocket while walking or relaxing in a chair. There is no cumbersome length of cable rolled up or dangling awkwardly in an inconvenient spot.If necessary or convenient, the extra length of cable provided can be easily added. All in all I think this cable arrangement is brilliant.

Not Working After One Year
The earbuds sounded good while they lasted but the left earbud no longer works after only a year and a half of use.Edit: I've reached out to Beyerdynamic since this is supposed to have a 2 year warranty and I still haven't received a reply back. I would recommend avoiding this product.

Absolutely incredible headphones!!!!
I would consider myself an audiophile person and have owned many expensive headphones up to 900 pounds and these are definitely in my top 3. The Sound is just breathtaking with clear highs and perfectly balanced lows. The bass is perfect in my opinion. honestly, guys, you can't go wrong with these ones especially considering the low price.
