My 10 year old son (11 in Sept) asked for this and I pre-ordered it. The price dropped and they honored the cheaper price which was greatly appreciated..He's been reading the book and he is not much of a reader. The design cover was really cool. It had just enough pages where it wouldn't be read in a day but not so long as they get bored or intimidated by such a large book.It arrived quickly after being shipped, I love being a Prime Member!I hope this review helped you if even a tiny bit, hit the "HELPFUL " button below. :) thank you!

For the life of me I can't understand why my son loves these books by Mark Cheverton. They look so amateur hour, like they're self-published with zero copy editing effort. But who cares what I think? They keep my son reading, and I'll never stop encouraging that. Might these books be a gateway to better ones? I'll never stop hoping for that. So...please keep it up, Mark Cheverton! Maybe consider hiring a copy editor. But as long as you keep churning these out, I'll keep buying them.

Awesome book! I love all of Mark's books. I am twelve and I own half of the books and plan to get more. (Spoiler!) But I don't like how Feyd died during that chapter. I like the rest of the chapter though.

My daughter is an avid reader. She started reading this series a few years ago. She has outgrown the reading level of these books but she still loves them. Now I buy them for her to read, and when she's finished, they go to her 8 year old brother.

If you haven't read any of Cheverton's books, you don't know what you are missing. My fifth grader ans I reas hua books together and discuss why he makes the decisions he does and they effect Minecrat. Excellent series for any Minecraft fan!

My daughter LOVES all of Mark Cheverton's books. She has read all 13 published books twice. The next two are pre-ordered to get them in as soon as they get published. She is 10 years old.

I don't like it when they have to retreat once but win with an idea of TNT run.

My son loved it. It was the missing novel that preceeded a box set he got.
