For me, the release tab seemed wimpy. I like to pull these ties at tight as possible. If you have the tie very tight, the release tab material seemed not stiff enough to release from the teeth because the tab is tightly "biting/engaged" into the teeth, the release tab/arm would "bend". If not very tight, it does release easily. On the positive side, it is very secure! On the negative side, the security somewhat defeats the purpose of the release tab (if you have it pulled really tight). So, I think for general purpose, it performs very well. Overall, it is good product. I would buy it again.

Way cheaper than always buying the throw away zip ties. And they work better than I thought.

Perhaps I am not doing it right but I find it very difficult to open these again once they are tightly wrapped around something. It defeats the entire objective to first have to squeeze a finger underneath the "lock" in order to push down on the tab to release it. I like the idea, it is just not working for me like I think it should.

These are great, since you can reuse them. The problem is I often have to use needle nose flyer To reopen them. Perhaps they are designed by men who have larger stronger fingers tips.

OMG, they work just as well as I had hoped. The release mechanism is simple and pain free.

For when you have to do something temporarily these are essential.

If you need to temporarily neaten an installation, the removeable ties would be fine. But anything that moves or is heavy will cause the thin strip on either side of the latch to break. That part is too weak for a tie this big. Ties just like this (with a hole in the head) under many names, seem to have driven the older, stronger style from the market.
