I wanted and needed something that would be able to knock down and keep out the glaring sun from my tiny office/music room but I didn't want to spend a fortune on drapes or expensive blinds. This is a rental apartment. I found these insulated curtains and after reading several reviews I decided to place an order and see if they might fit the bill. It was apparent to me upon removing them from the package that these were pretty substantial and would do a great job as they really are pretty thick and weighty. They also feel soft. I am very much pleased with this purchase because the price was very reasonable. I'd have to say that they are by far the highest quality curtains I have ever purchased, a real bargain! I am really stoked to get this room completed.

I bought these curtains a couples years ago in a slightly different size and color (black) to block out the sun since the window in my bedroom faced the sun most of the afternoon, and the room temperature was noticeably cooler. I also had a streetlight outside my window and only blackout curtains could block enough light for me to sleep.I didn't realize how good these curtains were until I bought some cheaper curtains from Walmart. They were wrinkly, too light that they didn't droop well, and weren't thick enough to block out the sun, and the overall quality left me sorely disappointed and I returned them the next day.So I reviewed my orders from two years to find exactly what I bought before (in a different size and color) and they have been one of my favorite home purchases.My only complaint is that the green is close to a gray, but it's fairly neutral and will match most rooms. If my wife would let me, I would buy these curtains for every window in the house.

Picking out curtains online is kinda like trying to find a bathing suit that looks just as good on you as it does on the model, who just happens to be twenty years younger and 50lbs lighter… I wasn’t sure what to expect with these curtains but after reading a hundred reviews that pretty much said the same thing (“just buy them”), I figured my chances of them looking just as good in my room were in my favor.I ordered two sets of 42x84 and I’m so glad I did! I love the Steele Blue color (I think that’s what it’s called), the feel of the fabric and the level of blackout they provide. They are lightweight but sturdy.Do they COMPLETELY BLACK OUT the room like I’m in a windowless closet? No…do they darken the room enough that I could sleep in and not realize what time of day it is after a late night of adult beverages? ABSOLUTELY.Our house faces East so we get full sun every morning into the bedroom. (The cats think it’s the best thing ever because they can move around in the room to ensure they are in the perfect sunspot all morning.) The pics were taken around 11:30a to show how much light we get with the curtains open and how dark the room gets when they’re closed. Light still gets in around the top because we don’t have any type of shades or blinds but we’re ok with that. For us, it’s plenty dark enough but for others it may not be enough. If you want windowless closet dark, you may want to look elsewhere but if this level of dark is good enough, then stop contemplating and add to your cart.As others have said, they arrive packaged nicely but folded up so there are wrinkles. I tried spritzing with water and tossing in the dryer but the curtains laughed at me. I ended up throwing them over the ironing board and ironed across from side to side (horizontally) to get the wrinkles out. I wasn’t concerned about the vertical creases too much simply because these curtains hang in a creased manner but the ironing got most of those out, too. It took me probably five minutes to iron each panel…so 20 minutes in all. Honestly it took longer for my husband to hang the brackets and rod than for me to iron them!All in all, they’re great and priced well. I’m ordering two more sets for the other bedrooms!

I bought these because I used to work at night and it was difficult to sleep during the day with sunlight peaking through my blinds. Don’t get me wrong, my room faces sunrise so I get direct sunlight and do see some light coming thru but it is so much better than my blinds. I would recommend, it does not prevent all sunlight from shining thru. However, it blocks like 90% of the sunlight.

I ordered these in a very light grey and dark grey. As some other reviews mentioned, these are not "blackout" as described. I have true blackout curtains in one of my bedrooms and zero light filters through. But I kept them because of the price, ease of washing and drying and I didn't need my rooms to be completely dark. I also compromised because it was the best match for the size, color and hanging style I was looking for and I live in a moderate climate. If you have more extreme temps. and want good thermal properties, you might want something else.

Well-made curtains of a soft durable material. The grommets are perfect too. The curtains, tho low cost, are high quality. I purchased several different colors and each is as expected.The lighter color ones do let thru more diffused light than the darker color ones. I am very pleased with these and do hope they will help keep room warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

I love these curtains. They are the right color that I was looking for plus they are the perfect width and length. I had been searching for curtains that weren't too long and these fit perfectly. All others went to the floor, which wouldn't work for me. Also they have grommets at the top which was so easy to put up. You can't go wrong with these, plus they are insulated and are black out curtains. Well worth the money.

Just hung these, the material is buttery soft and durable and they work great! Elevates the room!I love that they had so many size options, I got the longest they had and they are perfect. I would definitely buy these again if/when needed.

These look beautiful and are as advertised. Colours are difficult to purchase online, but this was identical to the colour on the screen (I bought the green ones).

So we were stupid to think that if our window is 110, then 55+55 width is good. LolAs it will be curly, half of your window will not be covered.But quality is good, nice material and sun coverage

They’re really nice and cover the windows great . You just need to be careful if you like waking up by seeing the sunlight to let them a little open.Otherwise it would cover all of it and it made me sleep through due to me thinking it wasn’t morning yet.Aside from that they have a great quality and large variety of colors available.
