awesome set of pots and pans but heavy. scratch resistant which is why I purchased them. Should last a long time.

These are very stylish, look phenomenal in the kitchen. I love cooking with these. Heat distribution is wonderful. These are extremely easy to clean. Great value!!!

First may I say these are absolutely beautiful. I wanted so badly to like them. Thank God my last Calphalon anodized pots and pans were still here because I’m going back to them. Everything stuck to these pans. I followed the directions. I used oil etc and it’s still stuck. The last thing I wanted to do on a Sunday was Box up all these pots and pans. I’m just shocked someone would sell this and call it non stick!

When I first saw this set of Circulon I was puzzled by what appeared to be a grill on each piece. My daughter reacted similarly. She is a chef, who moved back to Hawaii to take a position at a new restaurant under very accomplished executive chef, and then got more or less stuck with us when we went into quarantine. She has been helping me update/ upgrade my kitchen and I run everything by her, given her experience in professional kitchens.After she cooked with it she was very impressed that it did not stick, as she had thought it might because of that pattern, not realizing that it was to protect the non-stick coating. In fact, there was almost nothing stuck to the pan and she said that what there was she could flick off with a silicone spatula. (None of us has used the steel spatula provided to demonstrate that we could).I have a lot of different cookware accumulated over the years. Most of it is very good. I have my mother's Chantal, which she sent when she moved, some Calphalon a friend gave me, a set of KitchenAid non-stick, which my husband did use metal utensils on, and it was not built for that, and there is more. As my daughter looked it over she said that if she were buying she would choose this, or the Calphalon. (There is one pot she likes a lot, for chile).The upshot is that the Circulon performed very well when we used it. Both my daughter and I like the design, particularly the shape of the frying pans, and the handles (which do not get hot). She thought the handles on the glass lids were nice looking, ergonomic and prevented you from touching a hot pot since they provided more clearance.The pans can be used on electric, gas and induction cooktops and are safe to 500 degrees. They are also dishwasher safe but Calphalon says handwashing is better. The only issue I have with them is that they can not be used in the oven (but I only use one or 2 pieces that way myself).The appearance is unconventional, but it is a system that works. It is attractive, non-stick cookware which should hold up for many years, and Circulon provides a lifetime warranty.It should also be exceptional for those who use sous vide and then pan sear.

Like the cookware. Easy to clean as advertised and looks good. The only issue I have is regarding the large fry pan. It is heavy and there is no helper handle to prevent tilt when the pan is full of food.

I’m surprised to read the negative reviews on this Circulon steel shield set. Personally I think it’s a really nice quality set. I do see what the others were saying about the non stick aspect, but I found that to be pretty adequate. It’s not as good as a regular non stick pan sure, but they are much better than traditional stainless steel pan. In my opinion you get the best of both worlds with this set. You get the longevity and quality of a stainless steel set, and a bit of the non stick aspect of a non stick pan, but that won’t be destroyed and unusable after just a fewMonths of use.The quality of this set is actually better than I hoped it would be. It reminds me of the weight and style of All Clad pots and pans, but with a slightly more modern style. If taken care of properly these will last you for years and years. I love them!
