Instructions clear, follow carefully
This tool does 3 things. You must read and follow instructions carefully for proper interpretation. 1: Measure battery voltage on scale and verify "OK" or "Not OK" on graph.2: Measure battery reserve "Ok or Not Ok" on graph. First uses will produce smoke from resistive coil which is normal.3: Measure alternator charging ability on graph while idle slightly increased and headlights on and blower fan on high.I have found it useful and reasonably priced.

Robust and Simple to Use
I have many batteries at home for bikes cars camping and boat. I have used a similar style of tester for many years as a truck mechanic and are a fantastic product. I had a cheap digital tester but this didn't last two years. Avoid the digital and buy this mechanical style and it will give you years or service.
