I've tried them all, and always came back
These are the best jobsite workbooks you can find. There's a few very similar styles offered my Timberland. One of them even looks identical to these boots. Get the BARSTOW boots. The most comfortable boot you can find. Extremely tough boot too. The other very similar boots sold by Timberland don't come close to being everything the BARSTOW is.

Great Product
The leather of these boots came very soft right out of the box and required zero break-in. The back of my heels did require some break-in simply because I have not worn boots every day for a few months. That has nothing to do with the boot. The sole is very, very soft and extremely comfortable. The boot looks great in person and just like the picture. The fit is great and I used the computerized sizing that was available on the Amazon page. I'm glad I did because I was going to order a .5 size bigger and they would have been too large. The size the product page told me to order is dead on. These boots don't have an overly pronounced arch support but definitely aren't flat footed either. I recommend these boots to anyone that needs casual boots, work boots, or any person that is on their feet for long periods. They are excellent.

Comfortable and durable for my use
They work for me, use them daily at work and for casual wear. I am a facilities manager so they aren’t used in tough situations but to get around the work site and over gravel and mud they are decent and should last me a year at least

Great for flooring and tile setting!
I am a tile Setter and hard surface flooring installer by trade. Normally I spend $65 on a decent pair of Skechers or some similar brand. Good comfort for a few weeks and then as the comfort starts to fade the shoe starts to fall apart. I like something with a little more support and protection than a cheap tennis shoe. On the other hand wearing a work boot for flooring while constantly kneeling and bending your toes doesn't really work either, very uncomfortable and heavy/cumbersome. Maybe it's because I'm a larger guy these things are problems. (6'4" 240 lbs). These Timberland work boots have been amazing so far. I have not had them for the Long Haul yet but I can already tell they are going to hold up three times as well as something that costs half as much. Great all day Comfort, they definitely don't get too hot and they have decent dexterity. Nice flat sole that is easy to keep clean as well. Sizing was a touch large, but I think that runs pretty common with all Timberland boots including their Classics which I have a few pairs of and absolutely love. I figured I would be sending these back but I have been surprisingly pleased with them. If and when these wear out I will be grabbing another pair.

Lightweight Work Boot For Non Industrial Conditions
These boots fall in the lightweight end of the spectrum for a "work boot". More of a "heritage" boot at a great price. I dinged them a star because there is no liner in the shaft, and the leather is thin. This means no ankle protection. The foot bed is standard Timberland Pro, which is to say that they fit the same as their other boots. I wear the Timba Pro Pit Boss boot at work , which is why I stayed with this brand. I have a long narrow foot, and the D width works well with no heel slip. The toe box is quite roomy without the steel toe. I measure a 12 D on a Brannock device, and buy Timberland Pro boots 1/2 size smaller. The last that these boots are made on is similar to what Red Wing uses. If you can find a last which you are comfortable with, then stay with it. Lots of people live with foot pain because their shoes are the wrong shape for their feet. These boots are made from an oil tanned tumbled leather with a pebbled finish. The leather marks easily, although I haven't treated it yet. They are going to be easy to break in since the leather is thin and soft. Keep in mind that these are a $100 boot, so don't expect great leather. I like the hooks on the top two lace holes, for easy on and off.If you work around heavy metal, I would think something like the Pit Boss would be a better boot at this price point, with thicker leather, and more padding. I plan on using these boots for working around the house and going up on the roof. Flat soled boots like this give better grip on shingles, and pick up less mud. I will probably be spending time on my hands and knees, so I ditched the steel toes.Bottom line, TLP Barstow boots are good at the price point. They fit like I expected, and are comfy out of the box. The sole and foot bed are better than most budget boots. They look good too.

7th pair
Prefer these for work, last 12-16 months before tread wears flat, or stitching at bend starts to fail. Then just get new pair.

Excellent comfort and quality but HEAVY
I love these boots. I work in a distribution center and am on my feet 14+ hours several days a week. For walking and standing on concrete these are great BUT, be forewarned, they are HEAVY. On days I am walking a ton (9+ miles in a 980,000 sq. Ft DC) I WOULDNT wear them. On my more normal days (6-8 miles) they’d be ok. I have Columbia boots that are lighter, but nowhere near as comfy. I will be searching for a wedge boot that is lightweight to replace these for those long days.

Comfortable for wide feet
Truck driver, so I needed something sturdy yet comfortable. The sole still allows me to feel the pedals, and is durable. Very comfortable boot.

not a great roofing boot
Foot sits too high on the sole. Because the leather is so supple it does not hold/support the foot upright. Because you are walking on a pitched roof your foot spills out of the side . After a month I was walking like a bow legged cowboy. The boots started to wear horribly to reinforce/exaggerate the problem. My knees started aching so I decided to retire the boots . Too late however as the knee pain from walking in such an awkward position persists!
